There are some who would consider it the ONLY Gundam series...we can all agree that G Gundam is the best Gundam series correct?
I always wondered why he had an eye patch when he clearly does not need it. I guess for dramatic effect. There are some who would consider it the ONLY Gundam series...
Of course.we can all agree that G Gundam is the best Gundam series correct?

I found it real repetitive and boring. The Shining Gundam does look cool tho. Only was on episode 14 before I stopped. I dunno what 50 episodes of this show would entail. I honestly prefer more "real" mecha shit like war and politics than what this was.we can all agree that G Gundam is the best Gundam series correct?
50 used to buy you 6 episodes at most. Now it's at least 24 episodes per the same money. No different than a season of a TV series.$50 per volume, and companies wonder why anime doesnt still lmao
We've gotten spoiled. I remember when I excitedly found a store selling $20 VHS tapes of subtitled-only Outlaw Star that only had 2 episodes each on them.50 used to buy you 6 episodes at most. Now it's at least 24 episodes per the same money. No different than a season of a TV series.
We get it dirt cheap compared to Japan.
Better than Wing... but just. It's more like any other shonen fighting show of its time. Sometimes it's actually really good, but it's got a lot of dramatic shouting between the punching. How does this hold up if you can overlook the stereotypes and you're looking to enjoy it unironically? Is the mecha-on-mecha action still dope af?
I just re-watched Gundam Wing and that was definitely not as cool as I remember it being.
This show is Imagawa in top form - full of over-the-top, mecha-on-mecha action with an emphasis on close range martial arts fighting. I could never get into Wing even when it was new, but G Gundam is still a lot of fun if you can get into its exaggerated, hot-blooded tone. How does this hold up if you can overlook the stereotypes and you're looking to enjoy it unironically? Is the mecha-on-mecha action still dope af?
