Beyond thirsty and excited fans, the DMC5 trailer seem to have resonated with a lot of people, as it is one of the most watched trailers from E3: http://vizioneck.com/forum/index.php?topic=6396.0. According to this the trailer tracked 5th (before it very recently dropped from 10M, for some reason), ahead of titles like Ghost of Tsushima, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Elder Scrolls 6, Death Stranding, Halo Infinite, Spider-Man and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Maybe eventually but I doubt we'll get any sort of this-early-in-the-cycle release for it (which is too bad, since lots of transparency and player feedback is actually great for these games; look at how much DMC3 benefited from it during the development process, or look at how much player feedback improved DmC -> DmC:DE).

Think DMC5 has the chance to explode just like many other games have this generation. Not saying it'll get MHW sales because this game is a bit more skill dependent but I'd be shocked if it's sitting around 2-3 million in the first few months of release.

FO76 ran heavily as an ad. The biggest tell when a game runs as an ad is to just look at the amount of likes it has. For example, FO76 has 30m views and 121k likes. TLoUPII has 8.6m views but has 338k likes.

The only trailer I watch every other week from E3, it's a good trailer. First time I'm really excited for a DmC. I only played 4 and DMC and the former is one of the few games I actually hated to play and dropped at some point.
