Titled the "Resident Evil 2: Z Version Premium Edition", and priced at a whopping 107,784 Yen [$972], this edition comes with the standard Collector's Edition available both in Japan and the US and also the Qwerkywriter S LEXINGTON Bluetooth keyboard - as well as 4 rolls of police tape housed in ink ribbon containers. Adding up all of the contents is less than $500; so why it's $972 is beyond me.

Good timing. Yesterday I found 1000$ in my bank account out of nowhere. It was quite a struggle to find out what to use the money on. Know I finally know what. Thanks, CapCom!

I see where they are getting the inspiration from, but bundling a Bluetooth keyboard with a console game is a bit silly. :D

That should have been an actual classic typewriter instead of a bluetooth keyboard. It would seem more worth it then.

Great deal. Now I'm just waiting for the version of Forza Horizon 4 that comes with a supercar.

It doesn't make any sense - if you add up all the prices of the items, it's less than $500.

I mean how much could rolls of police tape actually cost haha!?

The keyboard itself is supposed to mimic ones found in the game but it doesn't look anything like them - at least the ones we have seen so far and personally I think it's an eyesore.

I'm just shaking my head over here at that fucking price...

It does look quite lovely, but that is a steep price, and quite a mark up vs. the none branded one. Expected though for this sort of bundle.

Imagine being stupid enough to buy this. If I were a billionaire it would still be a waste of money.

That keyboard is like $300 normally. A coworker of mine has one.

That is one expensive umbrella corp logo.

You can ebay an authentic old school typewriter for less and it'd make a much better prop in your RE collection.

It's a Limited/Premium Edition. It's sold at a... premium. In Japan that can be really expensive when it comes to these things. Don't think there's much more to understand.

Yeah, but just putting "Limited Edition" on it doesn't justify the extra $472 this beast costs. Like I said, just adding up all the contents it's roughly $500; so I really don't understand the extra $472 being tacked-on here.

Because they want to make a healthy profit on it and there are collectors willing to pay because of such "exclusivity". I mean you don't have to agree with it and that's fine. Just buy the keyboard, 3d print a label for it, and you're 3/4th the way there. These items aren't made for you to justify the price. You're either going to be ok with it and purchase it or you're not and move on.
