Looks good.

Whose voice is it in the video? Sounds familiar.

Looks promising, will check it out probably. I liked the first well enough, this looks like it mixes it in with Borderlands 2 crazyness and Mad Max open worldness/driving.

Looks really good, and I don't just mean the graphics. The goons are really annoying, hope we can remove them from the map by taking over their outposts and stuff.

I'm surprisingly interested in this. Since it doesn't look like I'm gonna get another Borderlands next year this will fill that gap. Hopefully it comes out a bit later after Anthem. Don't need them back to back

sold by the car combat (I want that motorcycle)

but that gun combat looks eh. (spoiled by how Doom is fast and mobile)

I think this looks freaking fantastic. Enjoyed the hell out of Mad Max; very pleased to see some of the best parts of that game find their way into RAGE 2.

I was a bit concerned about Avalanche after reception to Mad Max was lukewarm. Glad to see them end up on a project that seems perfect for them.

Looks cool and fun to me.
As a fan of Twisted Metal, Vigilante 8 etc. I'm always ready for some vehicular combat action.
First Person gameplay looks fun too.

This game feels like its 8 years too late.

It just looks so boring and derivative of everything I hate about most AAA titles these days

Looks great. It seems to share a lot of design sensibilities as Doom Eternal and I figure that's a large reason why that game has gone for a more Metroidvania, vertical styling to help differentiate it from Rage 2 but both games look great. I honestly prefer the tone of the original Rage to the whimsical wackiness of Rage 2 but I'll reserve judgment until I've played it- it's predecessor and these in-depth looks have earned it that at least.

The game looks great. Doom Eternal is absolutely stealing its thunder, but this will surely be a really good romp. I'm most excited about the convoys which look lifted from their Mad Max game but injected with steroids. That really huge truck just screamed to be boarded and blown up.

Shame they don't using id tech engine. So far so good at this point.

Why would they use a not open world engine for an open world game?

Open world and 30 fps is a hard pass for me. I'm pretty dissapointed since I absolutely adored the first one on ps3.

This has the most narrow FoV of any shooter I've seen, there's no way they won't have a slider or even just a toggle for a regular FoV surely. The first person animations and feedback look really poor as well, they keep touting how iD helped here but I'm beginning to doubt the extent they assisted.

What a shame. I mean, maybe the protagonist is actually good? Because that was certainly not the case with the original Rage. If you're going to have a generic character, it's better to be a player made generic character...
They should've embarced the wackiness and gone full Saints Row with it. Let me create-a-creator and then let me pick from a selection of voices for them.

Feels alot like another Bethesda game. They are becoming abit like Ubi with open world but with shooters haha. Maybe its the engine also wich makes it "similar"
Hope the marketing is good to make it stand out.

How? I think the combat in DOOM looks leagues ahead in termps of mobility, speed, options, gunplay, level design and enemy variety.
Doom footage looked good but more of the same. Still seems to be arena style combat which I found tiring. I was also hoping to see some improvements to the gunplay but it's looks the same. I'll really need to play it to know that though. 2016 gunplay I found underwhelming. Rage 2 also seems to have a lot more variety.

I'm looking forward to both but right now this looks more intriguing to me. Although I'm disappointed at the lack of MP

While shooting and graphics looks quite nice, everything else looks quite boring. From enemy design, the story bits, the world itself to NPCs.

Yep, we Mad Max now, I'm in for this one. I like how despite the grim world, it's not taking itself too seriously.

I don't know. Maybe a better advance id tech update for open world support.
At the time id tech don't work well with open world game with is a shame because id tech its one of my favorite engines. I don't have problem with avalanche engine used in Mad Max, but I quite prefer id tech after that Doom Eternal gameplay.
Still this Rage 2 gameplay actually runs pretty decent.

I'm more excited for DOOM Eternal, but this looks really good too. The enemy AI seemed to be lacking in aggression, but hopefully that was just for demo purposes. It's pretty likely I'll be taking the dip on this when it comes out. If the vehicular combat can be as enjoyable as it was in Mad Max, it'll be a huge plus.

Folks here seem to be split on it, but that demo looked great and got me excited. The biggest thing I want is a FOV slider on console, but that's something I want for nearly all first person games.

This looks really boring. I almost fell asleep yesterday watching it.
But it's also played in such a slow, boring fashion. Kind of like how Bethesda keeps showing off Doom.
The AI also isn't doing much at all

What even is this

I'm not exactly enthused by this demo. Its not bad at all for what it is. But I'm far more interested in how the game plays in the closed environments with these factions. That was pretty much rage 1 at its best. Fighting all those factions felt entirely different based on how they navigated their environments.

Looks pretty cool, but like all of the last few Avalanche games I really wish this had co-op. Really been feeling the need to scratch that Borderlands itch.

Wow, i thought this game was going to focus heavily on multiplayer. Hearing this makes me even more interested.

Same here. This looks really good and is almost certainly going to be a day one purchase for me unless something like The Last of Us Part II is out at the same time. I'm really looking forward to this.
