Still hoping someone at LRG will give some sort of indication as to whether a switch version of Phantom Breakers will also be released.

Do they? Not sure where you got this information.
If we do Switch it won't be until mid next year. Really all depends on how well this version does.
The box art for the LE PBBG is different vita/PS4? Or just the two sides of the box?
Unless they specify randomized covers.
I mean the images on the big box listed on the website now, not the reversible covers of the game . I haven't explained my question very well.Reversible covers. Every time 2 covers are shown, it means you can switch it over, but I think sealed those are always the covers you get.

Exactly, that is my question. Will be nice if LRG clarifies. I want to grab a LE for vita/ PS4 and a standard for the other console. I prefer the vita image I believe but ps4 has more value due to the DLC, so I don't know what to chose lol.Ohhh just checked it now. Ok that is a good question. Are the LEs getting unique art, or is that just a different image on the front/back of the box?
The standard copies are reversible. The CE boxes have different art for each platform.
I really REALLY hope Dust has one. It's the game that practically would benefit the most from one.
Would love to know that too, my wallet doesn't want more CE, but my heart wants a very beautiful Dust CE, with a steelbook, ost etcAre "Bon Appetit" and "Phantom Breaker" the omly CEs this month? Or will there be one for "West of Loathing", "Dust" or somehing else?
West of Loathing has a cheaper CE and Dust has a pretty cool CE that is not cheap!
Worth noting that the PS4 version is not a good port according to people online.
Huh, I'm gonna be so confused if LRG have grabbed this. I want to support them but I'd also like an EU copy...
Better hurry up and announce it though, because I'm not missing out if nothing's announced by Monday!
Thanks for the info, that helps a lot (and really looking forward to "Dust"....can't wait for the reveal!)
"Yooka-Laylee" will be just standard, as far as you can tell? Gotta ask because because September 3 is still within my August credit card bill. ^^
Yooka Laylee has a CE confirmed.
Btw tI've seen that game and it looks terrible.
You mean "Yooka-Laylee" in general or the Switch port specifically?
Already have it on Xbox One so this would be a hard sell for me anyways....but I'm so addicted to LRG CEs. o_O

Last time I played PS4 with the latest patches the game worked for me fine.Yeah both ps4 and vita versions are pretty shit.. surprised they are releasing it at all
They seem to be publishing the PS4 version since the Vita one's a buggy dumpster fire, which makes sense at least. I'm just glad it's not Dragon Fin Soup...

Vita is going to be bad though and it's one of the reasons we aren't doing it now. Not to mention there is no point in risking a run of Vita when a competitor is doing it. The MOQ is too high, whereas on PS4 it can be scaled down if need be.
30+ pages and soundtrack might be extended to more tracks due to some remixes but right now we have 34 tracks to use I believe.how many tracks are on the soundtrack for PBBG and how many pages is the artbook?
The only review I found was for the PS4 port and said the same thing you said about the Vita release.

I thought you said that you guys got at Bard's Tale first and Red Art got the second deal?
A shame - I probably would've bought the Vita version just because I like supporting you guys, but at least my decision is made for me now I guess :p
And if that's the case, why would Red Art's build be outdated compared to LRG's release?
Also, why sign with a publisher that'd do that? Or why insist in such release? Why don't ask the developer to fix the Vita port for a physical release? All I get from this situation is that the developer is lazy, scummy and really greedy.
I don't quite get the whole situation with the patches. Josh said:
I don't see why they can't just do the same with the Vita version? The developer seems to be trying outside of that:
I don't know what's going on anymore, except that Red Art is selling the Vita port and that's the one I'd buy anyway.
Josh clarified it a tweet later - both versions require patches, Vita would require a full rebuild to put it on a cart including the patch and that's more effort than it's worth for them:
I'm guessing Red Art are just releasing it as-is an patching it later. Which isn't perfect, but at least it's a physical Vita version, so that's the one I'll be getting!
So is this phantom breaker game really good? Always interested me but I haven't bit digitally. Now I'm staring at that PS4 version and wondering if i should.
Does it offer two player couch co-op?
We had it signed first. We had already done work for the extras and discussed patch work too since our dev team works with inXile. We felt we were too far along to stop but it did kill Vita 100% once they announced it. The work required isn't worth it now that we have to compete.Wait. When did they sign this release? I mean, they were reportedly upset with games in their catalogue being published by others in Europe and Asia and from what I've heard there is now a clause in their contracts preventing developers from signing with publishers in other regions because LRG wants full exclusivity. And now they're picking up a game that has already been announced for a release in Europe by a similar company?!
Not when someone is printing 3000 already and the MOQ is still high in NA.Vita not worth it?
You really think your Vita release wouldn't sell out like every other Vita game?
