I hope so too. I remember how annoying it was when tried to do that in Bookstore where they put a mook in the exit or if I stealth killed everyone they just spawned more knowing knowing that I'm upstairs :/
Watching that First-person Uncharted trailer just made me realize even more how much I prefer every game to be third-person. Man, I'd kill for a third-person Dishonored.
To be fair that was a hack by a community member. If ND were to do it properly themselves I'm sure it would look and play a lot better and more natural.
I'm just not a fan of the perspective in general. Resistance, Dishonored, The Elder Scrolls, and Mirror's Edge were the only FP games I really liked.
That RDR2 gameplay trailer is what I expected out of Sony's games for E3 when they said they were doing "deep dives".

They sure are building a lot and recruiting and moving to new studios for a team that's apparently about to get closed down(according to era)
If we listen to those same people, Sony is done because of crossplay any day now.

RDR 2 looked great and starting with Spider Man, the rest of 2018 is packed for me with six games that I have pre-ordered and another 2 to 5 games being 2019 rentals from GameFly and 1 game that I'll wait for a sale on. Really wish the summer months of June, July and August weren't always dead. UGH.
So according to PS Life Style, Horizon Zero Dawn already sold more than 5 million units at retail.

Hiring more people for a game that is about to come out in six months? Doesn't seem likely that they are working on Days Gone. Since studios usually lay people off after a game launches, isn't it more likely they are preparing for the next project?
That's a strange update from them given that earlier this year Sony confirmed that Horizon was currently at 7.6m sold

I did't remember that! So the number of 5 million sold at retail should be real. Total number should be close to 8 ~ 9 million now.

Attempts to update numbers that are not based on actual tracking data is fundamentally flawed in the first place.
As for the wikipedia link you posted - The citations in the numbers are the ones that needs to be checked. If it's from the publisher/official tracker (MC/GFK/NPD) etc directly, then the number is credible. There's nothing wrong about wiki, but the sourcing needs to be correct. The top few games listed there are all proper citations with numbers that came directly from Sony.
In moderation. First-party discussion threads is partly a mixed-bag discussion area that's primarily about the community - thus there are also a lot of occasional deviations every now and then which is fine.

I think I am one of the few people that was completely underwhelmed by that RDR 2 Trailer. Apart from it looking pretty it looked like a bunch of open world tropes we have seen multiple times but nothing in particular standing out. Maybe the spending time with your gang in the camps idea will be really good but right now I am not feeling it.

But it could go several ways, in my opinion.
One, they could do it like Rockstar did with Red Dead Redemption II in details, but risk of spoilers in scenes & game-play.
Two, because since 3 of the 4 games obviously not ready to launch in months this year & still in development, so maybe they decided to keep under wraps until they absolutely ready.
Or three, them 3 (Part II, Tsushima, & Death Stranding) could do a God of War 2018, release minimal info & trailers until launch.
But yeah, this "deep dive" term kinda misleading...

It was and it was suppose to drop at the end of last month, I'm waiting for it as well.
That would be ideal, but these kinds of videos are way easier to do when the game is basically done, which is not the case for any of those Sony games I imagine

Aren't Sumo Digital working on Crackdown 3 and another indie game? I doubt it's something Sony related.

In any case 7,6 million was indeed the number of units sold to consumers, and that was for February ! The original PR is here.
I've edited my post, I didn't see the PS LifeStyle story was only about retail sales. Still you'd really have to have a slow news days to use VG Chartz in 2018.
Well, Spidey was, same for Days Gone... i am not counting God of War because ssm and sony chose to not show very much from the game... but spidey and DS should have a videos like these.

XDev also retweeted Housemarque hiring for a writer on their unannounced AAA game, it could mean something.
I would like this more than the Playstation All Stars Karting that a bunch of people keep asking for now and then, or rather I would like this to be essentially that. Fully bringing in Sony's various IPs in terms of tracks and characters would work really well. They screwed up when it came to skins based on other franchises though, in that they didn't use them well and what they did use were really mixed quality. Some of them were great, and showed that the art style could work well. Others were "OMG KILL IT WITH FIRE".
