So with the recent Oscar news of adding the "popular movie category." Which MCU movies in the past do you think were snubbed for the Oscar nom?

I think my list would be:
Winter Soldier
Avengers
Iron Man
GOTG
Civil War
Homecoming

I think the idea of Emily Blunt as Sue Storm is growing on me, especially now that she wasn't cast as Captain Marvel. The others are John Krasinski, Andrew Garfield and John Cena. Apparently made by jaopicksart.

Well both John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have MCU history. He was almost Cap, and she literally WAS Black Widow until she had to back out.

Not the same avi! I cropped my own this morning when I saw you abandoned it! I wanted that image!

And as for Dark Phoenix, that's legit. They're starting this month in Montreal.

Basically as soon as McAvoy and Chastain are done on It 2 they go right over to do their Dark Phoenix stuff.

If John Krasinski and Emily Blunt aren't Reed and Sue, I'll be seriously disappointed.

I'd go with the Rock for Ben Grimm (get it?), but honestly he would make for a great Thing.

For Human Torch, I dunno. I'd go younger than Andrew Garfield. How about Dylan O'Brien since he missed the Spidey boat?

Was just curious. People can use whatever avatar they want, ain't important to me. :)

I can't wait for the Fantastic Four and X-Men castings.

If anyone tries to debunk the Dark Phoenix three-month reshoots, it's in the Montreal newspaper this morning and direct from the CEO of the Quebec Film Union.

Emily and John as Sue and Reed are great. John Cena as The Thing, I'm not sure about. They should probably cast someone that also has some VA experience, I think. (Did Bradley Cooper have any?) Andrew Garfield is a definite no from me. Didn't like him as Peter Parker, doubt he'll make a good Johnny.
I always liked the Zac Efron fancasts, I think he'd be a good Johnny Storm, except for the fact that he's older than Tom Holland.

I hated how much they wasted the Black Order in IW, especially Maw, he went out like a bitch.

I finally finished Secret Wars.

I thought it was pretty cool after the insanity that was Hickman's Avengers, it pretty much ends with less of a craaaaaaaaazy Marvel crossover event, and more of a... fairly simple Fantastic Four story. Some really cool Doom stuff in there. And Black Panther.

There is no shortage of great Fantastic Four material to pick from for their upcoming MCU debut, that's for sure.

Did they say when the reshoots start because if it's not soon I'd be concerned that it gets delayed again.

Studios are lining up for james gunn to be officially released from his contract, he bout to get PAID.

Disney gonna be looking foolish as hell.
We're just gonna pretend like The Dark World didn't break down barriers and blow people's minds?
Blew peoples minds in how fucking dull and boring it was. Absolutely bottom shelf cape film.

It's not impossible or anything, but what would be the point of lying about the length of reshoots? They're shooting on location in a major city; it's not like they can pretend to only be shooting for a few weeks.
3 month reshoots make the film out to be an absolute disaster incapable of recouping the money spent on it.

2-week reshoots make the issues feel smaller and easily solvable.

It's more for the shareholders than anything, imo. But since Fox is going through with the Disney deal, my guess is they want to spend the money to legitimately make the film better and make it a graceful end to the X-men universe.

They aren't really shooting on location. They film at a large film lot on the way out of town. It is surrounded by highway and is a bus route, so it is not really surrounded by paparazzi or anything.

Source: My bus passes by daily and I've seen some of the sets.

Ah, I guess that makes more sense. Still seems like they can't hide how long the cast is in town for, though.

I like Thor: The Dark World. But I also like anything Thor.

I will also scream if The Black Order turns up in Avengers 4. I would be so happy.

I'm starting to feel like the Proxima Midnight vs Scarlet Witch fight was the coolest there is in Infinity War. I loved the whole choreography and how Proxima would smash her weapon into the pillar, while Scarlet defends herself with telekinesis and hand movement. It's this sequence where she has to react incredibly fast while also keeping an eye on Vision.

Is there a gif of this fight anywhere?

And what about a gif for that huge error, where Thanos is grabbing Vision, then in the next frame he doesn't hold him and proceeds to grab him again?
