What definitely makes me happy in this trailer are the gun sounds. I loved how the guns sound in RDR and I really don't like them much in GTAV. They always sounded weak too me. That shotty blast in this trailer had some real nice oomph to it.
Watch it again. Those marks were already there when he landed. I slowed it down and saw nothing change in the ground as he moved in it.Are you talking about when he got thrown out of the building because he definitely left tracks in the mud
Not release the game? It's understandable for the first one it was hard to port so they said.I swear to god, if they pull the same shit they did with the first game..
Ohh it will come to PC. I have 0 doubts about this.
Can definitely appreciate the scope and detail in the world from what I saw but this game just isn't for me I guess.
I wasn't excited by what I saw in the slightest.
Not very convinced by the graphics tbh. Not just the character models which don't look within the current standards (if not on par with last gen characters) but also the overall settings, textures, animations and physics. It is not higher settings or resolution on PS4 pro or XB 1 X or PC (if it happens) that will change this but you can see that the game is has low basis. It is still the last-gen GTA engine (which already didn't look that outstanding) which got improved for the end of this gen. It still doesn't hold a candle compared to the last Sony exclusive games to be released or even some released ones and even to Multiplatform open world games games. I wonder how the game looks on base consoles.
Anyway, R* games were never benchmark games for graphics to start with and they were always about the fun and deep gameplay which seems to not be lacking in this game.
I'd imagine 1400p on Pro and 1600p, maybe even 1800p on Xbox One X for an as visually demanding open world game like this.
gamersyde will probably get some footage. They really have the best quality out there which I could find.
Dozens of others? The environments look pretty but the gameplay looks very iterative to me. Feels like it actually regressed a step back from the character swapping of GTAV, this honestly looks like an open world game like dozens of others.
I'll still get it sure but I'm not feeling it.
Downloading it now. I streamed it in 4k on Youtube and Gamersryde, but didn't get the feel I anticipated. Something is off...the ground looks like they cut corners.
The ground textures looking bad is probably due to low texture filtering.Downloaded the 4k footage from Gamersyde and looked at it on my 65" TV.
Image quality looks very good.
Apart from ground textures this almost looks too flawless for Ps4 Pro footage.
Nothing fresh in the slighest? What other games have, for example, the amount of interactivity with random NPC that they're showing here? The game is obviously gorgeous and R* has an amazing eye for detail, but I've seen nothing about the gameplay and open-world that seemed fresh in the slightest. The voice over didn't help, made it seem like a B-list trailer, filled with catchphrases and empty promises. But it does look amazing!
You willif i buy the 360 version of rdr and throw it in my xb1x will i be able to play it through bc?
