You can remote install from the mobile app, so what i did is just left my PC on, turned off all auto locks, hibernates and sleep modes and when it unlocks i'll start the download from my phone from the office lol

Yes: Okay now do you have steam mobile app on your phone or access to a computer that you can log into the steam website?
No: Well humm..poop!
Yes: You are in luck!
On website: Once logged in view your profile and hit games. From there you can click on download.
On mobile phone app: Open app > click on Library > download
Do note it will install to default folder, which you can change. For me I don't use C and have two libraries (D & E). D is set to default.

Anyone with an oldish cpu check if you have the FMA3 instruction set otherwise the game won't boot if the release is the same as the Chinese version

Yeah I'm pretty sure they were all an hour earlier actually, but I assumed that I misread.
Just checked there Twitter they said 9 pst 4 hours ago. This sucks was hoping to play a little before work
I'll have to look into it, but it could be an oversight. While I know Denuvo only checks once a week or so, perhaps it's on the Steam DRM side that has an additional check.
Not sure on the Poogie petting behavior though. Ive been playing on an Xbox controller and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. At least it felt the same as the console versions.

No it's not, it was supposed to release at 9 AM PST, even the store says its releasing in less than an hour
I bought this even though I have never liked a Monster Hunter game. Tried it on 3DS and Wii U and PS4. Thought I'd be able to get it into it on PS4 due to better hardware and friends playing. Never happened.
Trying again on PC. Maybe I can play some kind of ranged class with mouse/keyboard, if that's even a thing, for a different experience. If not, congrats Capcom for always getting my money.

I'm trying to do this but the game isn't showing up in my library. When I look in the store it says "in library". grr

It didn't. Official word was in 10 minutes since a few days ago. Unoffical word had the time wrong and it was corrected in the OP... yesterday?

Question, do I need to enable DS4 support in big picture mode for it to work?
Also can accept be changed to the O button (B on xbox)? So I don't accidentally sit (plus I am not use to X/A being accept).
Quoting myself here to further clarify.
So having checked this matter further, it's no longer an issue. The launch binary (a.k.a. Default branch) already has an offline mode. It turns out it was the Steam side causing it. This is no longer the case. Simply opt out of beta if you haven't already and you'll get the launch binary.
With that said, see you on the hunting grounds soon!

I can't even express how disappointed I was. At least it's small, I didn't remember the size from xbox but if it were a 40-50 gig game I would be in the same boat. at sub 20 I can at least play this afternoon :/
