Is Square being extremely tight to Nintendo about Smash?

Somebody on Twitter notes that of the 900 songs Sakurai promised.... Final Fantasy has..... 2. 2 songs out of so many choices. This makes me worried as to what else of Final Fantasy will make it in. Are we going to get more FF trophies or an assist trophy? Why is Square being so tight-lipped about what Nintendo can do?

While that list may not be final, it's something I also noticed. There's a possibility that there may be copyright/distribution issues? I have no idea, but I'd like to think there's a reason for it other than Square not playing ball.

There's no way it'll only have 2 musics, even if there isn't any new character/stage/thing announced from the FF series imo.

Irc much of the FF music does not uniquely belong to Square, so it might be that its hard for them to give it to smash, even if they wanted to.

Also maybe the Smash music team just does not like FF music, since apparently their tastes have a considerable effect on music celection.
