I've just started catching up on this starting from Part 2.
Yuudai totally running away.
Shion x Tsuchan. Too cute.

What an episode. The surprising twist with Noah possibly being into Seina was great.
Speaking of Noah, question lists from Yui were probably way too much for him, given his laid back attitude. I wonder what Yui is going to do next - wait for some other guy to enter or leave.
Aya continues to be the best new addition, she's just great all around.
Can't wait for the chapel confession scene in the next episode, I smell a great trainwreck.
Kind of related, but I really hope Seina leaves soon. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like everything she does feels very fake and played up for the cameras.
Wow OND is fantastic. Just finished part 3 and I'm so bummed it's over. I love everyone including Mayu who brings the "spice" and awkward thirst.
Taka needs something to do though. It's weird to me... I guess he's older so the women aren't as interested but I think he's very attractive.
Finally caught up.
That kiss was so awkward and forced. Holy shit. I was actually kind of worried for Seina with how flustered and confused she looked afterwards.
I also feel bad for Mayu in all this, but she's coming on way too strong. Everything went to hell after the perfect couple of Shion and Tsubasa left, lol.
I just saw the part where Taka basically does this at the kitchen table.
I don't know if it was in the regular panel part or the commentary track, but when Seina mentioned that the kissing continued in the car, I think they commented that if that one was a one off she didn't like, she wouldn't keep doing it later.Just finished binging part 3. Shion and Tsubasa are great and I hope those kids make it. Tsubasa's life is like a goddamn anime.
I feel bad for Mayu. She just needs to chill out and be herself. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast Noah figured her out. The 4 day reveal wasn't that surprising considering she was crying in the hallway about Shion after 1 day. That said, she needs to stop being so cold to Yui.
At first I thought Shohei's kiss was kinda funny but Seina's body language looked like someone who was not okay. I'm glad to see other people in the thread picked up on it, because the panel completely played it for laughs.
Yeah, Shohei mentions that. He also says that he's the one that initiated the kisses. I don't know.I don't know if it was in the regular panel part or the commentary track, but when Seina mentioned that the kissing continued in the car, I think they commented that if that one was a one off she didn't like, she wouldn't keep doing it later.
Might be misremembering it though, it was a while ago.
Yeah, I don't know if I read too much into it, but that's the vibe I got. They get back, she doesn't really say anything but immediately goes over and puts Taka between herself and Shohei. She's uncharacteristically quiet about it while the others are talking.I felt so bad for Seina in Kiss out of Nowhere. She looked terrified at the fireplace and seemed like she was trying to get away from Shohei. Shohei doing this, and bringing up Mayu titties every fucking convo made him go from cool pop singer to total creep.
I watched that episode 4 times and cried 4 times, no lies.Just started watching terrace house and I started with the city one. Just got to the episode when Hansan left. I was high as fuck and bawling like a baby.
Boys and Girls Next DoorI'm about to finish the city terrace house. What should I watch after that, the original one or the Hawaii one? Is there one airing currently?

Thanks for posting, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who thought that way about that episode. The Alarming Reality of Terrace House's 'Kiss Out of Nowhere': http://www.vulture.com/2018/08/terrace-house-shohei-seina-kiss-out-of-nowhere.html
That shit made me do an automatic 180º on Shohei right on the spot. My girlfriend and I were cringing so fucking hard. Fucking disgusting. The Alarming Reality of Terrace House's 'Kiss Out of Nowhere': http://www.vulture.com/2018/08/terrace-house-shohei-seina-kiss-out-of-nowhere.html

about the kiss
While I agree that Shoheis kiss was too much I wonder what Seina was thinking afterwards. She never really rejected him. Was she appalled? Or not? I wonder what we missed
But then she pauses, closing her eyes, and furrowing her brow. "I'm just really shocked," she mumbles.
I mean, Seina got kissed while she was sitting on the floor, drunk at a party during the first season and ended up going out with the dude, so the Shouhei kiss didn't shock me that much.
On the kiss debate:
To me, It comes across reasonably clearly that Seina is not attracted to Shohei and she seemed on the verge of tears both before getting into the taxi and in the brief scene when they arrived home. In a show with a lot of awkward albeit innocent moments, that scene stood out as uncomfortable. I can't comment on Japanese culture as a whole, but I do think a part of Seina going along with the Kiss is that there seems to be an expectation from the audience that the people on the show are there to go on dates and form these heterosexual couplings and if you're not doing that you are therefore uninteresting. I think Ami agreeing to go on some of the dates with Taka earlier in the season were motivated in the same way and the panel even speculated that her reasoning was to dispel the notion that she wasn't doing anything on the show.
I got told about this at a party last night. I have now watched nineteen episodes of Opening New Doors.
I may have an illness.
I have no idea why so many guys were into Ami. She seemed disinterested in everything. At least Lauren liked doing things. Those dudes had no idea how to take a hint. Like.....Misaki is single and cute as fuck and y'all fucking ignored herRandom thought with regard to Ami in retrospect. She was weirdly dispassionate for most of her time - so it does make you wonder why she was even there.
On the other hand, there were a bunch of expectations being foist upon her even though she just wasn't that into any of the three guys that pursued her. Notably, she seemed to get along well in a platonic way with Shion without all the awkwardness.
It's similar to the Lauren situation in Hawaii. She was never going to go for catfish boy.
OK, so I've powered through all 24 episodes that Swedish Netflix has in, well, two days. How does this work? Wikipedia says there's season four in Japan right now. Does it usually take long to get elsewhere?
