Ideally every single gen would have a rep. It's pretty BS that they just skipped gens 3 & 5.

You could've just said Banjo, cause Animal crossing is much more relevant then Metroid right now. Mobile game and the 3DS game is stilling Selling compared to Samus Return.

How is Banjo Kazooie an echo fighter? Just because they both have birds on their back. They do nothing that Duck Hunt does.

I feel like it's probably too good to be true just because of how distinct each is, and how many original models that would mean creating, which would be especially difficult as so many of these characters haven't been seen or heard of from NES days and would require more time in the oven than something like an Inkling which they can model after a recent preexisting game. Still, this would be the dream and the Smash team has been known to go above and beyond in the past (Koopa Kids)! Just realize this is probably quite a request for a single character.

Also because we're endlessly cursed to have all Fire type starters end up as animal humanoids based on human fighting styles. Or be Delphox. I'm not sure what's worse.

Design-wise Emboar is one of my least favorite Pokémon ever made and Incineroar is at least decent. Blaziken is the best though.
I still want to see a huge switch and have it be Gabriel Belmont. Who's final smash is his dragon transformation from the Lords of Shadow 2 trailer.
