For sure, you just have to make peace with the fact that things are going to go wrong. The achievement for getting all the heroes through is actually pretty revealing as it's called "Guided" - which I take to mean that they don't expect anyone to pull that off without using a guide.
Screwed up in what way? We were above $50K when charges started, and there were corrections on declined payments from the previous month that hadn't been paid out to us yet. Now this coming month will likely be more of a challenge since we don't have as many past pledges pending and summer is always slow for growth.
Isn't this thing snowballing now? It was my understanding (maybe i was always wrong) that the money shown on Patreon usually got back to normal (reliable numbers) after the 7th or 8th with a few exceptions.
Now it doesn't feel like it's any reliable, they seem to be struggling with cards being declined etc.
This past charge cycle they did run into an increased number of declined cards, which from my understanding, was a result of working with new International vendors, likely in an attempt to reduce additional charges for non-US patrons. Those changes didn't make as big of a difference for us as some other Patreons though. They certainly effected some of our patrons who hadn't been declined before, but the overall number of declines and the rate of corrections is still with the normal range for this time of month.

I bought Street Fighter V on the Summer Sale after watching the EVO stream. Haven't played a fighting game properly in probably 10 years. I'm pretty hooked already, though, there's way more content than I expected - I guess that's the Arcade Edition update. That and Huber's Arkham hype getting me to replay those games has been perfect for Summer gaming.
BTW in case you didn't know the cinematic story mode is an optional download that you access from the store.
disagree with Ben's point about facial graphics in Octopath.
Obviously more is always better, but I don't think it was a detriment to the game.
Those old games he referenced often didn't have voice acting. So the faces were to help.
But Octopath has VA for most (not all, mind you) of the important cutscenes.
for instance I just got to the end of Hannit's chapter 2, and the voice work accurately showed the characters emotions. I wasn't thinking that I was missing anything by not having a graphic face.

They said they'll announce if they do. So if it starts and they haven't said anything, then no.

Brandon doesn't want to share too much specifically about the studio finding process until they've signed, but the wrong message could be sent out. He cited bidding on a house before the one he and Amanda actually bought and thought they had it and even had a celebratory meal... Before the house was given to the owners friends. So wants to be on the side of caution.
I keep thinking what sort of set up they have. Something similar to GT? Kinda Funny? Hope they can have a permanent stage and couch set up at the same time like when they used to live stream GT live.

On the latter point, Jones has expressed a desire to do just that.

He said where he got it during a Cup Of Jones episode some time ago.
I believe he got it from a fair (it's been some time since that episode aired, but I am 95% positive it was from a fair), so not sure if it will be easy to find online.

That Smash stream reaction was really jolly. I dont even care much for the game but Kyle and Jones made it really fun to watch.

Yeah, I never was the biggest fan of Smash (before somebody shoots my head off again, I liked playing them at a friends place, but as I never had a Nintendo homeconsole I never grew up with them, so I was never hyped on them).
When this one was announced I was thinking of buying it in a sale (although I looks like Nintendo doesn't do sales on their first party stuff, I am waiting on a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sale for quite some time).
I own a Switch since the beginning of the year, so I thought why not (even though I only play single player). But the parts I saw of this Smash stream looked amazing and it's getting me more hyped than I ever was for the game. I still think it's going to be like Mario Tennis where I only play a couple of hours (as those types of games are not the best single player games), but it looks fantastic for sure.
I only stumbled in at the end, but their reactions were fantastic as well.

They added co-op missions to the first one, and with heists in GTA Online, they'll probably have something similar.
If we are talking about the wooden one he usually always has he has explained a couple times that he bought it at a medieval times type fair

Unfortunately it can take a really long time to get around in LA despite it being midnight. Even the Bay Area is awful now. Not as bad as LA traffic at weird hours maybe but yeah. California commuting in the big areas is hell. My commute is usually around 1 and a half to 2 hours for just one way.

I was in the same spot you are in and really wanted to get a nice wooden mug like Jones has, and I'm pretty sure I found the guy/people that makes them. I ordered one that looks like a barrel and i've been really happy with it myself. Only issue is that they seem to close their online store whenever they are at a festival, so right now unless you can goto the Maryland Renaissance Festival you won't be able to order anything online.
It has been a good day of easy allies content today. The Smash Reactions stream was rather wonderful and a huge thank you should go to Kyle to getting to Brandon's so early (especially having left only a few hours earlier after the podcast shoot). I am pleased for Kyle that the Smash Direct was so great. Tabletop was hilarious with some classic Huber/Pomper madness. Worth a watch even for those that have fallen off the show. Finally, I caught some of Ben playing Dead Cells. Some pretty fine gameplaying skills shown off there with a pretty sweet necromancy build.
