How does West Hollywood have any authority to do that? From what I can tell the Walk of Fame is in Los Angeles itself, not West Hollywood.

Where X marks the spot.
They should have removed that dog shit from the sidewalk a long time ago.
It must be costing a small fortune having to constantly repair/ replace it. Guess they got tired of the hassle.

the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a dump that exists to trap unsuspecting tourists who think celebrities hang out there or something.

I'd say just move it to the bathrooms so people can piss on it, but I think he's into that kind of thing.

That doesn't make it a "treasured American landmark" nor does it make it less of one if they damage the star that belongs to a rapist.

I'm not defending his individual star - toss that shit.

I'm just saying the Walk of Fame kind of is an iconic American landmark - just a sort of cheap tourist-trappy one.

They're both innocent-killing, violence-enforcing, inequality-maintaining presidents, yes. Then again, as I said before, I didn't just bring up Obama to divert attention from the horrors Trump has done, others brought him up first.
Talk about a freezing-cold take.

User warned: whataboutism
One was a good man, the other is an admitted sexual abuser who was elected after reaching out to racist America for votes.

Fucking stop.
Yes, Trump is a horrible man, but how do you come to the conclusion that Obama was a good man? have you done any research into what he has done?

Yes, that's why I said it.

If you're going to jump into a conversation about Trump being as terrible as he is with 'but Obama" nonsense, you're not trying to make a genuine argument. Stop it.

Again, you're acting like I went with "but Obama" when that is patently false, I was not the one who originally brought up Obama.

If your standards are that a President can never make an incorrect decision or have to make a tough call between equally poor choices, we've never had an "innocent" President.
Trying to even remotely put Obama and Trump in the same stratosphere of wrongdoing is just naive, at best, intentionally dishonest, at worst.

You're "whatabouting" and trying to use "Did somebody say Obama!?" as an excuse.

I doubt Obama gives a fuck about having a Hollywood star guys. The city ain't going to put one there unless he pays for it and goes along with the whole cornball ceremony.

"I mean, someone else brought up Obama. It's not my fault that I then tried to equate him to Trump!"

You're dishonest.

Nope, in fact you can see that my statement on Obama was a response to an Obama statement. The "but Obama" statements are when people bring up Obama when the discussion is otherwise not about him. I agree that the discussion was not about him, as can be evident by the Tweet, however for some reason other people decided to bring his name up, that was not me who brought him into the thread.

Yes, I am saying that every president in history are guilty of committing atrocities, and the American system itself is a violent, racist, sexist, repressive regime that needs to be completely overthrown. If you're a president, you're going to be authorizing some horrible actions, that's a fact of the job.

You were the one who introduced the "fox" concept into otherwise innocuous Obama posts, but yes, clearly we are all crazy for thinking you introduced "both sides" into this conversation.

You're well aware why his name was mentioned in this thread: a joking way of pointing out how much better of a man he was than Trump, combined with the fact that Obama taking his place -- something we understand won't happen -- would piss off the racist.

When you say "for some reason, Obama was brought up" you are being dishonest as a way of making excuses for the fact that you tried to act above-it-all with a "Well, actually, did you know that Obama once authorized drone strikes!?" attitude and it backfired.

So I assume you're an anarchist of some sort? Literally every government ever has blood on its hands, but that isn't the point. The whole add Obama idea is just because Trump is thin skinned enough to have this actually bother him. Obama isn't petty enough to actually have his name associated with this. You, however, seem to want to drag this conversation into a but Obama is also a bad person direction when it has no actual baring on the topic itself.

I'm going to avoid making any long response due to my warning, but I do favour a worldwide socialist revolution and with that a stateless world.
