Is this really happening :O

EDIT:

Apparently so, per Sarah Treem. Ruth Wilson asked to be written off.

That was my favorite episode of television of 2018 so far. When The Affair is good, holy shit is it good.

I did not expect them to do that. At all.
I suspect that she was murdered, but if she really did kill herself then that is one dark as fuck character arc.

Claws S2 E9

I never expected Polly's backstory to be so dark. Damn.

Also, that ending was both heartbreaking and beautiful.

This continues to look taut as hell, which is no surprise since it's from the creator of Lin of Duty.

I was a bit unsure of this, but the trailer is very promising.

I'm really liking the trailers for both. I had no clue about Escape At Dannemora becoming a limited series, especially with that cast! Ben Stiller directing all eight is also intriguing.

Richard Madden tho :/
He's fine. Or maybe I still have a soft spot for him since Sirens

I've caught a lot of good tv lately!

Finished Glow Season 2. I thought the second season was even better than the first.

Finished Queer Eye Season 2. Reality television doesn't get any better.

Finished Casual Season 4. I considered seasons 2 and 3 to be mediocre, but the finale season was on par with the quality of the first.

Binged through most of Claws, I'm 5 episodes behind but hoping to be caught up by the season finale. It's quite funny.

I'm so excited Better Call Saul is back and Insecure is in less than a week!

I'm caught up on almost errything(135 or so currently airing shows). I finished Lodge 49, which was solid. I'm halfway through Mr. Mercedes, which I am loving. I think I'll try to fit in Impulse and/or Big Little Lies before the Sept/Oct deluge. The Bureau will have to wait for the Dec/Jan slump I think.

Just signed up for Netflix after searching through a list of available content in Canada, I was surprised at how much the catalogue improved since I tried it years ago, but after signing up I realized I was actually searching through the US' catalogue...

So yeah, even after all those years it still sucks. Especially if you want old stuff, like French or Italian crime/drama movies from the 70s, yet there's a dedicated Indian movie list. But even more recent stuff is difficult to find.

There isn't even a "History" genre!

Also, their searching tool sucks, really really sucks. I can't even search by release year range. Can't even sort! I have to use Google for god's sake!

I've been enjoying this season of Preacher more than I did last season. Last week in particular was really funny, Herr Starr continues to have the best delivery on TV.

Yeah I've let them pile up on my DVR as well. Was ready to jump ship after that previous season but never removed the series recording. I guess I'll give it a shot... eventually.

I finished Mr. Mercedes and continued loving it. I can't wait for it to return. The show definitely needs more attention and love. Now that I've done more research on the book and seen the end of the first season I "get" how it can continue. I try not to read anything about a show for fear of spoilers while I'm watching so I was definitely in the dark about that book.

Finale wrapped up in a bit too tight of a bow for me, but it was good. I didn't like that last moment (if she's really dead), as she's one of the funniest characters IMO.

I hope she's alive too. Anything can happen on Claws (if Roller could survive...), so don't count her out just yet!

Claws Seaaon 2 finale Spoiler:

I just searched about it and seeing as she's tweeting out the scene and saying see you in S3, I would guess she's alive. Seemed like a shoehorned way to remove her because she had other commitments or something, but I think they'd be doing exit interviews if that was the case.

Am I the only one watching Wrecked? I've enjoyed every episode of it so far but I haven't encountered anyone else who has watched it. It's a silly, light comedy that's worth watching!

Starz has set a Season 4 premiere date for Outlander, its hit original series based on Diana Gabaldon's fantasy romance novels. The new 13-episode season will premiere November 4 at 8 PM, with the episode also set to be available for streaming on the Starz app.

The Venture Bros. continues to prove its not only one of the smartest, most well written shows on TV but that its just one of the best shows period, animated or live action.

Decided to finally tackle Sneaky Pete S2. Have a few episodes to go, but its solid so far. Basically everything to do with the family seems utterly extraneous though. They have all these actors and basically have them play "hide evidence and deal with minor loose ends from season one plotlines" for the whole season so far. It just feels like busywork. The Pete storyline is entertaining and only mildly connected(I'm sure it will come together more).

Almost caught up on Yellowstone. Every single episode has a standout "wait, WHAT?!" moment, and I respect that.

Goddamn the season finale of The Affair was so good.

Cole
running away with the urn was simultaneously one of the funniest/saddest things I've ever seen on television.

Oh and can someone please give Maura Tierney like all the Emmys in every category forever. I'd watch her in almost anything.

I think you're going to have to expand to a top 20 this year Ratsky, I don't know how I'm going to narrow all these shows down to a top 10.

I did laugh when he started running away. They should have gone for another take that looked less goofy.

Maura Tierney is the best actor on the show and Helen is the best character. I loved seeing her call out Whitney for being awful.

I don't think I'm going to have much trouble this year, to be honest. Right now I have about 8ish shows that could place in my top 10 and a couple of them I'm more than comfortable bumping to Shout Outs should something better come along (several shows that made my top 10 last year haven't premiered their new seasons yet this year, so that probably/hopefully will happen).
