The part about "we also need to look at what is viable and move projects around potentially to newer systems with more market reach." doesn't give me much confidence about their Vita releases. They can easily claim the Vita market as not viable for them and just go PS4/Switch all the way.

Our nagging has finally got to them though. So thats good

Damn I don't know how, but I somehow avoided backing any of the Sekai projects. Whew...

I hope Sharin no Kuni still happens though... Tokyo Otaku Mode is reliable right???

The good news is that they are TALKING. Saw an old Tweet saying they would be more open about projects now. I guess a few years of us bugging them finally got them to snap?

Anyhow, $10 says the Vita titles will be shuffled over to Switch. Especially since they are already doing ports to eShop.

Since they "exploring" bigger markets without bothering to test the LRG route, its a given

Last SnK update mentioned the Vita version:
We do realize a large number of you are particularly concerned about the Vita port, in light of the announcement of physical Vita game production ending in March 2019 for western territories.
We are still working proactively with our partners in getting the Vita port prepared, and are fully confident we will be able to deliver it to all relevant backers as planned.

LimitedRunGames will tokyo chronos be released outside the ks, on the limitedrungames web as always? Sekai project has been very bad with console, but vita is other level. However I like the announced games and I'll buy them, but very poor service and really deserve all the criticism.

So the first lrg game that is exclusive to a kickstarter had to be from sekai project hahaha.
However seeing the replies I am still not sure.

While it said that on the Kickstarter, it doesn't mean it's true. Kickstarter campaigns don't have any integrity. Not that I keep track, but from what I've seen more exclusive releases have broken exclusivity than not (excepting variant covers and such). There's literally no downside to them doing it.
Oh I certainly do not think it will be 100% physically exclusive to KS. I was just posting what I assume was where one of the above posters got the info about it being exclusive too.

They posted that image and said elsewhere that the only place to get it physically is thru the kickstarter.... I assume they will be paying extra to have a print run smaller than the minimum allowed. Should be a nice piece for collectors.

Dotemu and LRG worked together on Windjammers and Ys Origin previously so dunno if this is something I should be getting excited about as a Vita fan?

In my dreams it's Ark of Napishtim for Vita so I can complete the set.

That would be pretty awesome if they ported it with the new translation. They did Ys I and II too.... Wouldn't mind them all, but 6 would be best.

Looking through their portfolio, they've done tonnes of stuff I'd love. Neo Turf Masters, Little Big Adventure and R-Type to mobile too. Any of those I'd love on Vita...

Wonder what it'll be. Guessing it's getting an LRG partnership whatever it is.

It would be funny if it ended up being Trails in the Sky, as it is unlikely they would be able to release all 3 games before the deadline.

Hey all.

I recently noticed a problem with shipping of one of my orders and I was wondering what is the best course of attention (or in LimitedRunGames 's case, what the next step should be)

I've ordered from LRG before, and I know long shipping delays are part of the business (no offense, LRG). That's why I didn't notice that my copies of Thimbleweed Park didn't arrive yet. But I've noticed copies of unboxing on the net, and I've received emails about the next two games I've ordered (Saturday Morning RPG and Night Trap) shipping soon, I figured something's up.

According to the shipping notice, it was mailed out the last week of June and was supposed to arrive on July 3. To complicate things, UPS transfered the package to USPS for delivery (anyone that knows me from the old forum knows I've lost many Best Buy packages because of this).

So, the tracking number shows that UPS drops the package off at USPS. The same number isn't recognized at all in USPS's system. UPS refuses to take any responsibility, telling me to take it up with USPS and the shipper. Furthermore, they claim only the shipper (LimitedRunGames) can file a claim/complaint.

Where the hell do I go from here? Has this happened to anyone else? Any or all help is appreciated.

Open a support ticket on this site: https://limitedrungames.freshdesk.com/

Customer Service will probably conduct an investigation and send out replacements once it has been determined that the original shipment is lost. I've had good experiences dealing with them so I wouldn't worry too much.

Really hoping it's not just Windjammers on Switch...

It was just Windjammers for Switch, lol

I did kinda suspect it would be something they'd already ported coming to Switch, but given that it was "godlike" I was hoping it'd be something a bit more exciting than a game that would either have been coming through ACA Archives or this lol.

Incidentally, it's on sale for $1.50 on PSN this weekend if anyone wants to try it out.

Right after their 'godlike' tweet, they retweeted a Windjammer's tweet that also included the word, so it was kind of a given.

One day someone is going to port the entire TiTS trilogy to PS4. I just have to believe it hard enough :P.

nothing godly about it at all. May get it if it has a cool LE since I got a PS4 review code but otherwise I'll wait for the ACA version

So I need to ask... is a Switch physical happening? I don't want to have to buy two copies of this, and I'd really prefer a Switch version.

Picked this up on PS4 because of highly everyone spoke of it... but I didn't really get the hype. I'll pass if it gets a physical.

I'd like to think that its likely to happen at some point. My understanding is its already on the Eshop, so someone at some point will do a physical run.

Another company has the rights to the Switch ver. LRG only has the PS4/Vita rights
Do they? Not sure where you got this information.

If we do Switch it won't be until mid next year. Really all depends on how well this version does.

In regards to the Sekai Project game, we will most likely have a version on sale for our website but it would be limited.

That's not 100% confirmed though, like honest to god truth.

I'll let you know if that ends up being that case.
I'll love to get a confirmation the soonest possible, because I hate when companies (sekai project) talk in a vague way and aren't 100% clear to customers. I'd much prefer buying the game from the lrg page than backing the kickstarter.

It's more like stuff from months ago, or news site misinformation. Of course, things change

Thought I'd ask again since I didn't get an answer last time. What's going on with CSH? It was listed as shipping in July and there's been no notice of a delay that I can find.

You should have received a production update email last week (sometimes spam filters catch them)
"Cosmic Star Heroine (PS4)

The developers at Zeboyd Games wanted to fix some issues that were encountered during the Vita version's development and they made the decision to wait for that patch to be completed before pressing the discs. This allows us to include that final patch on the disc, which will result in a complete and final physical product. We expect this to ship in early September. With the 76 page manual - we guarantee this will be worth the wait!

Cosmic Star Heroine (Vita)

This has been in production longer than the PS4 and will ship a little bit earlier. We still expect that to be in early September, but it could end being August (fingers crossed)!"
