just the daily reminder that wargear is going to be preceeded by 4/4 4 mana stealth mech card to ensure a 9/9 that can go face every game on turn 5 for aggro gg
and when it doesnt happen on turn 5 it will happen on turn 4, tyvm galvanizer
piloted reaper + sticky 2 drops in deck (annoyotron, mecharoo, etc), also basically guaranteed that t5 for wargear or zilliax

also augmented elekk + jade idol, brehs

aggro is a necessary archetype guys. This expansion more than ever. Decks will have plenty of tools to keep aggro in check though.

The main thing to consider is that it will take a month for a balance patch to come out, so if there is a tier S deck out of the gate it will dominate for awhile.

Nothing can be worse than Big Boy warlock/Hadronox Druid meta.
Really? Those (as well as Big Priest) are some of my favorite decks in the history of Hearthstone (with Justicar Control Warrior being number 1) :o

Jade Druid and Pirate Warrior are my least favorite decks in the history of Hearthstone

I understand people like aggro because they want to rank fast, but personally I enyoy the longer games where you have to make decisions more.

I welcome aggro back. Any meta where a slow hunter deck can survive is way too slow.

I agree, the games on this meta are way too long and usually allow for decks with some insane plan to work out. I like when the game have some turn 10 plays, but not when most of the games are just starting at turn 10. I have a life guys, need to complete those games faster.

Slow hunter just shows how slow this meta is.

Me too. But endless waves of taunt minions gets old real fast.

Then your problem is probably not Taunt Druid, a tier three deck at best, but Spreading Plague. "Control Meta" lol. The top ranked decks right now are Odd Paladin, Odd Rogue, and Token Druid.

Aggro metas are dumb. Games are over in like five or six turns and require very little thought--just luck and a decent mulligan.

he is talking about hadronox druid, not spreading plague.

OK. If he's talking about Big Druid (which is just the more optimized / evolved version of Taunt Druid) then your answer is to just play Odd Rogue, an alternative to aggro Paladin that's favored, or Zoo Warlock which is about even.

You're complaining about a deck that is already countered by one one aggro deck, 50/50 match up with another, and loses to Miracle, Egg Hunter, and BSM.

Even Warlock dies to Odd Rogue, Miracle Rogue, and Burn Mage.

We've had aggro metas before and they're barely "playing" the game. Just looking to high roll into a 4-6 turn win so they grind X gold or X arbitrary rank to get X prize.

I would be super happy if aggro becomes viable again. I have limited gaming time, and the slow meta last expansion was the first time in a while I almost quit the game.

I've updated all my clients with the latest patch but still can't see Boomsday cards in Collection. Was always able to see but not craft new cards pre expansion launch. What gives?

did you check the option to include uncraftable cards? without that they won't show

Good call. Could've sworn I didn't need to do that in the past, but that did the trick this time. Thanks!
Usually I just used the Set/Expansion selector at the bottom left and saw the new expansion listed there as a filter.

My random, out of nowhere, speculative guess, for a new decent deck to immerge will be Dragon Soul Priest. Priest got a lot of small spells, and the deathrattle recycle guy, so maybe it will finally work.

that's just ur own individual opinion, but it doesn't make it a universal fact that Hearthstone is better without fast agro decks

my opinion is that I only like Hearthstone with agro Hunters. in fact I basically stopped playing the game when they nerfed Face Hunter. the version I'm referring to is when they nerfed all these cards at once -- Leper Gnome, Owl, Knife Juggler, Arcane Golem

after that happened I only played the adventures and haven't spent any money on random packs. as far as I'm concerned they need to bring back that Face Hunter

Hearthstone imo is best when it changes. It doesn't really matter if it's changing to aggro heavy, control heavy, combo, or some mix, it's that it's different over time. I get having a preference, I'm somewhere in the middle, but one style of deck is not inherently easier or more skillful than the other.

Well that's not true. Some decks are harder to play than others. I mean if you're playing the long game, your making more decisions, meaning more times to fuck up.

Well I said not inherently easier or more skillful and I mean based on the style alone. Of course some decks are harder than others, but whether it's aggro, midrange, control, etc., that's all rather irrelevant.

I think it's a very common misconception to equate game length to meaning more skill. Been down this road too many times to care to repeat it, but in short it's not about the amount of turns alone, it's about the difficulty of finding the right path and despite having shorter games aggro tends to have more difficult branching decisions.

If you're playing short games every decision matters more conversely.

Zoolock of old remains the most skill intensive deck still imo.

that deck was hell to play, It was deceptively difficult because of the positioning of minions. I still distinctively remember reading several articles and checking tutorials just to learn to control that deck.

I didn't play patron warrior, but apparently that deck was also pretty hard to play.

to me aggro =/= mindless and control/slow =/= smart.

some decks are more difficult than others to play, but that is just how any healthy card game should be.

Fair point. I only play Druid decks now, as I dusted everything else to make the metadecks (not my finest drunk moment, for sure).

Why? At some time you will get bored of Druid and then it's hard to build non-druid decks. My favourite class is Mage, but I can't play Mage decks every day, right now I am having fun with Miracle Rogue.

In the long run it is better to build a collection than to chase the most hyped meta decks.

kinda wanna try reviving some mechs in a secret paladin build to try it as a new age dr boom finisher

wargears shredders and minibots ought to be good enough. i'd consider the 1 drop and new shredder but they probably wouldnt be good to revive usually. 2 shredders or 1 and an upgraded minibot is pretty good for 7 mana extra bot is pretty gravy. give me a reason to recraft call to arms

if i use galvanizer to reduce a 3 or 4 mana mech to cost 2, will piloted reaper take the mech from my hand when it dies?

you can guarantee to hit your galvanizers out of your deck with crystology btw. also can guarantee drawing jeeves, sir finley, vilefin inquisitor , saving them all from being wasted on call to arms pools if built to do so

Oh, yeah, I drucked up. But I was only playing Paladin, Hunter, and Druid anyway... and I don't play that much anymore. It made sense at the time... d'oh! now.
But it's now easier to be f2p as I am only concentrating on one class. I'm hoping that Druid gets a good aggro deck--I have a decent one right now--as the slow style is easy to burn out on.

5000 gold, 4000 dust, aint paying shit for this xpac, lets go.

More decisions does not imply that better decision-making is more impactful.

the leggys i want is

dr boom + boomship

kangor ; try and smash this in secret or call to arms or mech flood pally decks
subject 9 - deck thinning pally, hunter, or mage. maybe odd secret paladin.
zilliax - for mech decks
floop = this is crazy and can get value in most any druid deck ever
electra stormsurge = again crazy with any shaman with burn or high impact spells
floops gloop = this is alot better than people think, alot better. one trade makes it innervate, not that hard to go above that and turn it into serious tempo swings

i guess solarium that will make zoo decks alot stronger

I always lack cards to play a lot of the popular decks and I never want to craft anything before expansions. No twig or Malygos, lacking epics for most decks. No even legendary guy.
