Apple removes Alex Jones and Infowars from iTunes. Spotify and FB follow suit.

Been interesting seeing discussion of this on Twitter the past few days regarding Spotify and some podcast apps being asked by folks to remove him. Seems like some apps had the ability to remove his show from their own listings, while others depended purely on Apple's moderation and didn't have a system in place for it.

Because the podcast listings do not require approval in the same way the iTunes Store does (and that process is flawed too)
Nice. Hopefully it doesn't end up getting put back up and other services follow suit. The InfoWars app needs to be removed from the App Store and Play Store as well.

It is a good job, I truly believe he is one person that truly needs to be de-platformed. As for saying good job I am not going to go down the how was he on there, as a big podcast listener it's amazing what you can find on the Apple podcast app, it's not that crazy to get all kinds of crazy on there. However not all crazy is inciteful or dangerous, but since Alex Jobes and Infowars obviously causes real world problems it needs to lose accesss and Apple has done that.

I'm pretty sure it's a joke to one thread on here where the user refused to call Apple by it's real name.
