Rewatching the Dark Knight - outside of Ledger, this movie is not very good.

Jesus, how many times are people going to fanwank about this movie. For a movie "everyone hates" people sure as shit keep making thread after thread almost a decade later.

I've never met a person in real life that hated TDK.

TDK isn't perfect, but it's still the best superhero film ever made.

What a terrible opinion to have.

It's a movie with a bunch of weird and bad stuff in it that somehow still manages to be thrilling, interesting, and triumphant. It's more than worthy of the praise it gets.

I would say Begins > TDK but Ledger is just so insane. He gobbles up scenes and makes you super excited for the next time the Joker appears on screen. For that, TDK will always be my favorite of the three (and so far my favorite CBM)

This is a very confusing post.

Wouldn't this thread be the opposite of fanwank? And this thread isn't saying everyone hates TDK, I mean, I don't think anyone would be crazy enough to say that it's the general opinion that TDK sucks.

Same. When I do though, I'm capturing him in a cage and keeping in my closet. I hear they grant wishes.

It has a lot of pacing issues and isn't very well edited. Begins was a much tighter film.

On topic I love TDK despite it's flaws. The dialogue can be cringe but that's also true for Begins (damn you Goyer!). The cinematography, the acting, the direction and pacing are all on point.
