I just bought this like 2 hours ago because of that PSN deal. I was thinking how much I'd prefer it on Switch and thought about holding off. Dammit, lol

Was really hoping for it to be an Arcade Archives release (I wanted a pure, unaltered experience with the original menus etc), but I'll take what I can get here!

We all need to buy this so Dotemu continues releasing games on Switch (and because this game is AWESOME). Ys Origin, please.

Sounds like it's not the remaster.

They are talking leaderboards and local mp. Maybe an arcade archives release?

It's the same version Dotemu has released on other platforms.

This Switch version of Windjammers will be the exact same game as the versions we've seen already, but will there be anything unique or exclusive? No, Imbert says, but it also won't be returning to square one. "It will be a straight port that will include all the improvements that we have been working on so far on the other versions," he explains. "The last update, for example, being that you can now choose to play the music from the Neo Geo CD version instead of the emulation, which improves the experience online and offline."

Nice! I understand that this is a competently done version, right?

Hopefully it releases soon! Would be an awesome game to play while waiting in line at GamesCom.
