I'm more curious how Krillin won over Android 18. Even when she saw that Krillin wanted to help her with the Dragon Balls, she made it sound like he didn't win her heart or anything. I guess she was just being a tsundere, but I still wonder how he won her over after that exchange.

Like metahuman or something. 'Android' doesn't mean a robot in this case

they werent called androids in the jpn version, they used the term cyborgs for all the robots created by the red ribbon army(dr.gero) ,even though all of them except for 17 and 18 were actually androids, basically funimation switched it around

It was 100% the bomb wish. She says "17 is my brother, b-baka" and tells him something to the extent of "See you around" after she leaves the second time which Yamcha interprets as Krillin having his foot in the proverbial door. The rest doesn't really matter

Android 18 was originally a human named Lazuli,[6] and the elder out of her and her twin brother, Lapis.[7] The twins were notorious delinquents, whom Dr. Gero would meet by chance while looking for fresh material for his experiments. He then kidnapped them and restructured them into Android 18 and Android 17.[8]However, despite being referred to as androids or cyborgs and commonly regarded as such, both Android 18 and her brother are practically neither. Bulma stated while looking at 17's blueprint that he was human-based, but just about everything has been enhanced with bio-organic components.[9] Their only mechanical parts are the emergency deactivation controller and self-destruction device (removed).[10] Dragon Ball Super reaffirms this, with Gohan stating that the androids have been modified on a cellular level to be superhuman.[11] She is the second artificial human, between her and her twin brother. Toriyama should of just had shenron wish them back as humans, but keep their strengths. I believe he had them try, but had some dumb reason as to why they couldn't, so they took out her nuke. Just make it simple man...
