I've kinda been mulling this over for the last few days, but I want to fix up my old 2002 Squire Precision Bass. It still mostly works okay, but I wanted to replace the pickups, remove all of the stickers all over it and repaint it. I know Fender sells the parts individually, but they seem kinda expensive. I was planning on eBaying most of them. Or are there any good websites that I can order pieces from. Also, what paint would work best for painting it?

I just recently restored my Ibanez RG 6 string. Stripped the paint, stained it, rewired and changed the pickups.

I got all of my electronics on guitarfetish because I didn't want to solder anything, but I'm not sure if they do bass parts. I would recommend them if they do. check out stewmac and allparts for hardware and electronics well if you're looking to solder stuff. Pups you can probably grab a used set on eBay or Reverb
