The NL West race is the most exciting one right now. Early on it was the Red Sox and Yankees but Boston is far ahead now, whereas the NL West has two wins separating the top 3 teams.

Oh shit a walk, I can't believe it.... but a first pitch to a double play is something I have.

39 pitches in 4 full innings. Eovaldi has a chance to beat Porcello's 86 pitches in a complete game.

Looks like the Yankees just want to get the fuck out of boston as soon as possible, when a Starter has a pitch count of 50 pitches after 5, is time to rethink the aproach.

Either Boone or the hitting coach needs to to tell their hitters to take 2 pitches before swinging at anything. You can't have the entire lineup swinging at the first or second pitch and not making the opposing pitcher work at all. Eovaldi has barely broken a sweat with how easy the Yankees hitters have made it for him today.

Chance Adams did himself proud today. He gave us 5 innings and battled out there. His Yankees teammates should be ashamed of themselves for not showing up this weekend.

How did we get Evoldi for Jalen Beeks?
Beeks had a strong AAA season going despite a horrible cup of coffee at the ML level, and Eovaldi is a free agent after this year who had never looked like s guy you would give a QO to.

He's benefiting from the Red Sox having an all world OF, catchers who excel at pitch framing and game calling, and an infield defense that is better than average.

He also massively improv3d his control coming back from injury, which I don't think anyone expected.
