Did you butter the corners during your Dreamcast party?
I don't know what this says. I do not really know what I just read. I don't understand what you're saying. I'm not receiving your intent through your words. What I'm saying is.....I don't get it.As an old fart.. next gen isn't an Instagram tickle.
I can be in awe of a game when I see something new.
Playing games since 1982. Am bored. Next gen needs to be something
Left/ right = butter
Is a start.
I ain't touching Halo Infinite unless the corners are thoroughly buttered.
a locked 30fps wont give you that issue.Id personally like to see more uncapped fps options (more options in general ala Xbox One X)moving the camera around at sub 60fps (which will most likely still be the case next gen) will look like a jittery mess
No way. Pick any game on a console. Walk forward. Perseive smooth FPS.
Stand still on a console game. Hold left or right and boom.
Blurtastic
Next gen for me. Solves this
Buttery butter
don't care about left or right or back to front or up or down.
...It's smooth everywhere.
Ok chaps,
The challenge is. Any console made todate. Hold the d-pad or analogue stick left or right and MASSIVE BLUR.
60 or 6000 FPS walking forwards on a console fine. Please can I have butter when I stand still and look left?
Everything spams when you stand still and observe.
For me. Next gen is... Butter in the cornering. You know what I mean so no BS snipes.
Thoughts.
With everybody stroking their cactus over 4K resolution, I'm sure the PS5 will be able to do 4k30 and 1080p60. If it can't do 1080p 60fps then the console should just never come out.
I knew I wasn't seeing this for the first time!
Your username says it all.Ok chaps,

Look left or right. Your eyes do the same thing.Lads.
This is a console debate.
So.. in my humble opinion. I would love to have a console (lazy gamer) where looking left or right standing still is smooth and beautiful.
Right now it's ass.
It's way better then the games from 1980 but..
Forwards and back right now is sweet.
Left/ right is ass.
IMO.

Your totally right about movies, but I want butter in my gamesI still remember how cheap the 48fps version of The Hobbit looked without the natural motion blur you get at a typical 24fps >.<

Wow, before some of you guys go making fun of an OP, maybe look into the issue to see if it's a real thing? Some of y'all are really acting ignorant in here, poking fun at OP when you have no idea what he's talking about. He is not referring to motion blur. What he is referring to is judder, the phenomenon of frames being left on a screen longer than they should be due to the FPS of said content not matching the refresh rate of the screen in question. It is also much more prevalent on TV's such as plasmas without any inherent motion blur.
Here is what Any Questions is referring to: https://youtu.be/CuEZIJDEQyo
Here is an old thread from AV S forum on the matter as well. It manifests in games as a sort of double image. https://www.avsforum.com/forum/40-o...ts-frame-doubling.html#/topics/1107325?page=3
Common guys, no need to bash his English skills.
and yes, we do need 60 FPS as standard going forward. No excuses.
Your television is the cause of the blur when turning the camera around. This will never be solved until new display technology is created. No way. Pick any game on a console. Walk forward. Perseive smooth FPS.
Stand still on a console game. Hold left or right and boom.

Yeah, you're right. New Consoles would really only be a solution if 60 FPS was standardized. Your suggestion is probably a better solution to this issue. How will a new generation of consoles change that issue?
But a new tv and new console both supporting freesync might help with that?
