Hey, I appreciate your concern for my situation. I didn't want to post an update because there's nothing new since last time.
Still waiting to get paid in order to go on with the transplant treatment. I'm still facing some chemo side effects like head, teeth and bone aches but nothing I can't handle. There's also a mole in my neck that's becoming a little weird so I need to have it checked as soon as I can, probably just paranoia tho.

In other news, my father was diagnosed with kidney failure and will start dialysis. He also has to undergo heart surgery for the third time, so it's my turn to be strong for him ,support him and accompany him (he has to go to another city to get any sort of treatment).

Want to start doing lots of activities like joining a muay thai gym and do some acting classes, but I'm waiting to finish the treatment procedures before (will have to spend 3 weeks in the hospital). Deciding to make a game is probably the best decision I've ever made, it's taken my thoughts off the cancer stuff and I'm starting to get a good grasp on game development. Hope it won't disappoint.

Hope all is well for you too, thank you for your support :').

Sorry to hear about your pops but I'm glad things are working out for you. It sounds like you have a lot of aspirations and goals and that's a wonderful thing.

Hey everyone,
I had an eventful week and I'm extremely happy right now.
First off, my father visited another doc. He made further tests and it seems that he doesn't need to have dialisys anymore. Next day we went to clinic and he had the heart surgery. Operation lasted 14 hours but it was successful. He's still in intensive care and I visit everyday.
My mother had her yearly tests to check if her breast cancer returned. She did the scan last week and we went yesterday morning to see the result and consult with her oncologist. So yeah, yesterday was a day I'll never forget. The result they first gave us when we arrived clearly stated that the scan showed acr5 mass in the same spot, which means high probability that the breast cancer came back but needs biopsy to see the final result. We waited for 4 hours before seeing the oncologist. 4 hours in hell ! My mother was very touched by this and spent the whole time crying, I had to be strong and tell her that it's no big deal and there's a probability it's benign so don't stress but I was dying inside. Went to the bathroom and cried for a bit, washed my face and did my best to make her laugh and support her. There were lots of other patients tho and they all told her it returned for sure and it's now even harder to treat.... Anyway, upon seeing the doc we learned that there was a huge mixup and that it wasn't her report they gave us....pfffff such an emotional rollercoaster..... I could dance from joy. It was like waking up from a nightmare... Anyway her actual scan was clean and there was nothing. We went to see my father afterwards and told him the story behind a little glass window with improvised sign language.

So I'm very happy right now. Our little family went through a lot these last few years so I'm happy everything's fine for now. I saw lots of less fortunate people who were in a position similar to mine before posting here, no money and no health insurance. Felt extremely sorry for them because I know that feeling but also made me remember how lucky I was to have this community support me in time of need. Thanks again everyone, wish I could meet each and every one of you and thank you personaly every 5 minutes lol. Also my hair grew back, even better than better hehehe. I always had fast hair growth, my father used to joke with me and tell me you need to start a business selling wigs. I also have a strong sense of smell, he also used to joke: at least if you don't get a job you could work as a police dog sniffing stuff in airports.

Take a small moment to read through your very first post in this thread, and this recent post you made, and be proud. That's why no matter how dire things might seem, never give up.

So happy for you man. I mean mixups suck because it can be horrible waiting for results and stuff but it being a mixed up and your mum's scan being clean is great. Also good to hear your father seems to be doing well. As are you.

So all in all, very happy for you mate.

They did that to me with autoimmune labs (my Nurse knew something was up, I was freaked), I can't imagine it with cancer. Glad to hear all is well!
