I was going to pre-order the special edition in the UK but it seems I left it a bit too long. GAME and Smyths still had stock last week. Guess I'll settle for the standard unless some more appear.

Oh cool, thanks. Maybe I'll go with them for now and hope one of the others gets some more stock. It was £5 cheaper at GAME and £10 cheaper at Smyths.

They will most definitely add more skins with dlc. I didnt even exepect more than a dozen of skin options. 25 is like a dream for me.

I remember in The Amazing Spider-Man game you had to return to Peter's apartment to change costume. Not sure if it's been mentioned in any other previews yet but not in the ones I've watched or read.

My argument is that you are putting too much focus on the scores and not just natural word of mouth. Obviously, critics play a role, but more so in the consensus the game is good as opposed to such a strange focus on numbers

MHWilliams from US Gamer mentioned how long it takes to switch suits.
Ah, I kind of meant that literally. As in the speed at which the game will process the suit change. Cool that it seems to be easy, at least.
Oh. I guess it happens fairly instantly since selecting it in the menu probably masks the short loading time to switch out the suit model.
Future Foundation, Superior, Black Suit and one more of the Spider armors. That's all i want to make the perfect suit roster for me( Many of my other favorites are already confirmed)

Difficulty
From the outset of play, you are asked if you want to play the game on the Friendly, Amazing, or Spectacular difficulty level. Despite the somewhat intimidating name, Amazing is the default difficulty setting. Spectacular features stronger and more aggressive enemies. If you find one of these settings is a little too difficult or easy, you can switch it at any point during play.

His focus isn't in the review score numbers themselves but rather what they represent.
MC scores are after all an aggregate of reviews which provide a strong indication of consensus of opinion of a game.
Most gamers will not think twice about buying a 90+ scoring game in a genre they already like, and many who don't traditionally care for the genre in question may still take a punt on the game. Thus the high aggregate review scores justify the purchase for more games, thus engendering in effect a wider appeal.
That's not even mentioning the higher media coverage and word of mouth a 90+ aggregate review score will promote.
In marketing terms, MC scores are the gold standard.
IIRC In the Insomniac stream when they played the E3 demo they said there are more difficulty levels when you beat the game.

One of the reasons why I think this can get 90+ on Metacritic is because of the web swinging
I've seen more than one impressions comparing the satisfaction of webswinging to the satisfaction of throwing the Leviathan Axe from GOW
