No, I remembered very clearly. Last year they played with house money and had no pressure to win. When they did run into pressure in game 6+7 in the ALCS, they were completely shut down.

and this year Sanchez has been out for what will be two months, Tanaka was out a month, Judge will be out a month. nothing to do with pressure.
edit: and other teams get better. like the Red Sox right now.

On the bright side, it will only be 5-5 after 10 games. I have absolutely no idea who pitches on Saturday now. Lynn can give 2-3 innings, Cessa is not an option now. Might really see Sonny Gray come in for a few innings. Yuck.

Sorry, but I disagree. Holder was clearly overwhelmed by pressure tonight. Even David Cone and Paul O'Neil said so on the broadcast when he made those two bone-headed plays. Nothing personal against you, but I agree with Cone and O'Neil.
