White Gundams are for protagonists, grey Gundams are for antagonists (see Gato and GP-02). Was the design and coloring of Destiny Gundam already completed at the start of the series? Who knows.

Sounds like it was a team effort. Did Kira even interact with Shinn in person? I always remember Athrun dealing with him.
Shinn couldn't even beat bandaged up Athrun after he got out of a hospital bed. Once Athrun recovered and got mad enough to enter Seed mode Shinn that roflstomped, he's trash.
Looking it up Destiny is mostly colored white, though are indeed a few cases where it sports (a lighter) gray, including the anime itself XD
Not that I can recall, no. Kira mostly did hit and run attacks for Orb that ruined Shin's day.
From what I have been reading it's a step down from 3 on every front, customization, game play and even has a very bad slowdown problem and that the story stuff is really bad... so yeah

I'm on episode 9 now and this is the most slapping and random smackdowns I've ever seen in a tv series. I feel like I would not have wanted to be someone in Tomino's orbit during this period of his career.
Always meant to ask, people love the main villains in Gundam but what are people favorite side villains?
Iok from IBO is my favorite just because he's so goddamn hateable.

Does Delaz count as a side villain? Plenty of side villains to love: Ramba Ral, Norris Packard, Aiguille Delaz, Steiner Hardy, Chara Soon, Yonem Kirks, Marida Cruz, Suberoa Zinnerman (I'm not even sure the last two even count as "villains" more like they start as antagonists but that's Gundam for you).

I don't even know what side villain is. Does Bask Ohm count? I think I tend to just like the main douchebags these days. Can I like Chronicle Asher? I can't pick Glemy since I fucking hate his guts.
That's what makes him a good villain though.
As for other side villains, I've always been a big fan of M'Quve.

I don't consider him a side villain though, I always kind of just lumped him in with Haman as the main villain.
It's very hard for me to count Noin as a side villain, Lady Une is more of a side villain compared to her.
It has been a really long time since I watched Wing, I sort of remembered her switching allegiances at some point, but either way.
She switches sides pretty quickly in my opinion since she does it before they escape from the moon base I believe and she wasn't even antagonistic when Heero fought Zechs in the Heavy Arms. Noin is cool, Lady Une is a different story, she's cray cray side villain tier.
Inb4 we spend a page bitching about Shinn for the 9752476th time lol.
Indeed, Shinn fits the "side villain" requirement but nobody loves him.

I really enjoyed the first game on the PS3. Just got back from vacation and am downloading BO2 right now.
In a pretty good mood, just about done with the one piece dub so time to go back to working on Gundam! Back to Zeta. Need to keep moving forward for more kit material, got the last of my og show kits (for now)on their way(Guntank, and a replacement for my destroyed Zeong ). Then I have Gundam mk 2(titans) and Rick-Dias(Quattro's).
So time to move forward, I'm moving in the next month so I have time to get through a good chunk of zeta(at the least).
Say, never thouht to ask, any decent Gundam games that got localized on 3ds/ds or ps3(or heck gamecube).... or dreamcast(though I'm sure they'd be expensive)

3ds/ds - Nope
Gamecube - Nope
PS3 - The Musou games.
Dreamcast - Rise from the Ashes
Imports? Oh yeah.

You should at the very least import Gundam Unicorn for the PS3. It's cheap, made by FROM Software and fucking awesome.
Well localized isnt an issue for me on saturn(I have an action replay so it's region free for me, and isn't the Dreamcast region free?)
If you had to recommend one Gundam game what would it be?
There are two Zeta Gundam 2D side scrolling games on the Saturn, and the Blue Destiny trilogy is fantastic.
The Dreamcast is not region free, but it's pretty easy to get a boot disc to circumvent that. The very first Gundam Versus title was originally made for the DC.
Gundam Unicorn - Developed by the same team at FROM who did the Another Century's Episode games. All space based combat/gameplay.
One Year War on the PS2 is great, too. Developed by Namco's Ace Combat team.
The Unicorn game only covers the first half of the show, btw.

The first game had some pretty terrible F2P mechanics (it had a fuel system you had to wait to recharge) although I think that might have
been axed in later updates? I only played it for a month or so before I got a bit tired of the jank.
My brother says the new one is pretty good. Still gotta pray to the gacha gods for anything good, but he seems to be enjoying it.
I installed it last night and played 2 matches. Seems okay so far. MS-09 Dom is one of my favorite suits, and
it usually plays really well in these more grounded sim-type games, so I will probably get some enjoyment out of it once I unlock that suit.

In the tutorial you have do some stuff in the HARO menu that might be a little tough to figure out but nothing game breaking. Once you're done with that, though, the game should be fine.
I played a couple ground-based missions last night, felt a lot like the the original. Will need to play some of the space combat today.
