Is a low point. There is still a lot of work left to try to help these families, and far too many children may be permanently separated because of the ineptitude of this horrific and anti-American plan. This isn't a low point for this administration either, but for America. History will not be kind to the Trumps and their ilk.

No, she doesn't get to play like she's remorseful. She's a powerful figure and if she cared at all she'd be booking herself on news programs daily to advocate for these families until they were all reunited. She's acting like this is a footnote in an otherwise pristine administration instead of a still ongoing morally reprehensible event in a nightmare of a presidency. Fuck! Her!

Not much direct value in that gesture from this nepotistic appointment. Could be useful for a Congress member to gauge the state of the administration, its supporters and to get an idea of what legislation to avoid.
