I want Naughty Dog to try a Mission Impossible-style game. I think that they could mold the Uncharted formula pretty nicely into that.
Love it, it'd fit so well.

They've already got a lot of things that would fit those kinds of missions and we've had little bits of infiltration like that. And their style of set-pieces fit that kind of thing so well too.

Yup, someone had posted this earlier -

So good.

Love how well each of the Drake feats at the end fit so well just like the crazy shit Ethan would be in in each of those shots to the music at the end of the Fallout trailer.

That's way too close to what Uncharted 4 is, in terms of the nuts and bolts of it. I want them to leave that to the wayside, and try and tackle the space opera genre. Make what is essentially a spiritual successor to Mass Effect.

Not tight on those PS+ for this month to be honest. Not really mad though, got some other games waiting to be played.

oldsnakeonline , Thanks for those statistics! Holy hell, Uncharted 4 was an absolute juggernaut then. Well deserved, and hopefully the conclusive ending to a phenomenal franchise. :P

I hope someone would put a high quality non-commentary B-Roll Spider-Man preview video like God of War awhile back.

I'm gonna download it & watch it at home.

5 hours from now then? Well, that's a lot of Spider-Man coverage then that's on the way that I'll be watching and trying to make some gifs for y'all. This game can't come soon enough. Honestly, Ultimate and Spider-Man 2 were so damn good. Loved those games.

Almost 4. I'm hoping for GoW kind of hype...

What's the best thing you've eaten during your travels so far? What's been your favorite part of the tour?

Nasi Lemak in Malaysia was great, just killer Currys. Had amazing roasted chicken wings from a restaurant on the street, it felt like being in a Bourdain show.

Korea took us out to a traditional Korean course meal that was incredible. They didn't want me to try this dish that was basically combining kimchi with fermented pork and fermented fish. They thought I would gag. But I love fermented (and spicy) food, and Koreatown in LA is one of my favorite places thanks to Jonathan Gold (RIP), so I impressed them by eating and loving everything there.

Japan's food is always delicious, ate well there.

had dumplings and hot pot in Taiwan, Sichuanese and Cantonese food in Hong Kong, plus high tea a couple times.

Overall the trip has been terrific. I'd say getting to get reactions from people who have finally now played a couple hours of the game and gotten to see the story and what's actually going on is really cool. Have had some great conversations and interviews with Australian press the last couple days.

But from a touristy point of view- riding Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland was a highlight, for sure. Iron Man Experience and Grizzly Runaway Mine Cars were great too. Also the Batu caves in Malaysia (as seen on the Amazing Race), some of the Malaysia folks taking us to a Durian stand for dessert (terrifically fun experience), and seeing the Patronas Towers and Taipei 101 in person (now just gotta get to Dubai!).

Awesome to hear you had a great trip! As a Brit, I'm intrigued to know what you thought of Britain, if you went there anyway. There's a lot of hype for these previews themselves. I'm not sure how many of us are gonna contain the hype come the time of the game's release. :)

How many hours from now is the previews? One or two?

10am ET / 7 am PT. So 50 minutes from now.

I didn't travel to Britain this time, though I've been many times and always enjoy visiting London. I handled the Pacific Rim portion of the tour while the rest of the team did SDCC, North America and Europe

Ah, I see! Well, glad to see you enjoyed yourself either way. Loads of nice countries by the sounds of it. :)

Thanks for the preview time notice. Will definitely watch a lot! :P

Seeing your other post about eating all the good food during your travels, it makes sense that you didn't come to London.

Yeah.. this game is gonna be installed all the time on my PS4 with Horizon lmao
I'm getting it digitally, which will make it my first (okay, fine, second cause I pre-ordered Mega Man 11 on Steam...) digital pre-order ever, and it's never getting uninstalled. I can come home from a long day of work and just sit my ass on the couch and boot it up just like that without having to pop any disc in to simply swing around. Just the thought of that is getting me so damn excited!

So what do you guys think of the previews? Are they GoW level? I personally don't think so but that's fine, not an easy thing to pull, I just hope for it to score over 90 to see if it can cause some crazy sales numbers.

Yeah, I don't think so. But how often games are celebrated like GoW? One or two times a year, if at all? But for a Spider-Man game or even a superhero game this looks pretty good.

I just hope the story / missions / boss fights are as well written and linked together, as in Arkham Asylum.

I'll probably go physical with Spidey because I believe my GCU is still active until the end of the year, but Dreams is absolutely going to be a digital purchase, even at full price. I want to be able to jump to that at any time, just like I do with Fortnite.

I know you're probably getting inundated with mentions today but are you on any podcasts regularly anymore? I really miss Weekend Confirmed.
