I hope there's a link with high-quality video to download & maybe longer length time to watch.

So, confirmed suits:
- Classic (damaged and intact)
- Advanced
- Noir
- Infinity War's Iron Spider
- Homecoming
- Homecoming hoodie
- Velocity
- Spider-Punk
- Scarlet Spider
- Spider-Armor MkII
- Secret War

So, we know 12 of the 25 (that counting the DLC ones, without them just 9).

Classic and Damaged Classic each get a slot.

The three pre-order outfits (Punk, Iron Spider, and Velocity) don't seem to be a part of the 25 unlockable suits.

It's not minor to me. I'm bored of formulaic open world games and this seems to tick a lot of those boxes along with QTE's and batman style combat. I came into this thread hoping to read something that might change my mind like what happened with God of War (intitially I wasn't interested in it based on what I'd seen) but that's not been the case.

It's just a personal preference thing based on what I look for in games at the moment. If at some point down the line I'm in the mood for something like this then I'll get it.

I just wanna say
-QTEs are very rare (Reiner's preview says he saw 2 in 4 hours)
-Combat is all about aerial combat, webs, using the environment and gadgets (most previews say it feels very different than Arkham)
-Formulaic --- everything in the open world is tied to story tidbits and info.

That's still 22 costumes. Even just 20 is a lot when they're each unique and come with special abilities and passives.

Like it's cool to want a lot, but sounds like your expectations are just out of whack if you expected 30+ completely unique costumes.
hahaha, yeah, I always want more. can't help it. I'm glad that we actually have 25 costume already in the game. I hope it have Superior Spider-Man or Miles Spider-Man costume.

Yes, that's all.

Now read that quote again, it doesn't stop there. That's the difference between BOTW towers and archaic/Ubisoft towers.

Are you talking about the puzzle solving? Because Zelda did the same thing with some towers requiring you to solve a puzzle to be able to get on them, since the base was covered in those deadly thorns.

Can you say what did you feel about the towers since it seems there are some people who think having them in a game always means bad things, I mean it shouldn't even take long to climb since you're Spider-Man.

it sounds like a good number at first, but then you start listing costumes and you suddenly need more costume slot. Tom Holland Spider-Man alone already take 3 costume slot. dlc costumes please.

hopefully the story dlc will have unlockable costume too
We already know it will

Here's an insightful comment for you~~~
My quote (from The Verge's preview btw) doesn't even address the towers thing. :|

I'm just concerned (<- not a slur word btw, idk what's the big deal about being it here) about how well they will balance the fun between the free-roam segments (that simply looks amazingly fun, there's no way around that) in the open world and the more linear story missions. And how well integrated those will be.

Another quote from The Verge addressing that:
Spider-Man is by no means the first open-world game to have this problem, either. But after titles like Horizon Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild took such big strides forward in giving players open worlds that felt alive, where a pair of warring robotic dinosaurs or a hidden temple guarded by a fierce mini-boss might be hiding just around the next corner, Spider-Man felt a little too old-school: go to the icon, activate the mission, repeat.

I mean, you don't have to climb them or anything. Most of them are just on the rooftops. You swing by, land, do the little frequency-matching mini-game, and the tower clears the fog of war in the area. Takes like 30 seconds tops.

I don't see the towers being bad considering you're Spider-Man and traversal is part of the fun.

Bless you, kind sir.

Exactly! 25 is definitely a lot, but Spidey's got such a long list of alternate costumes that it becomes hard to just pick 25 you want. There are also original suits in the game, so that makes the list even shorter... Hopefully, there's actually still more than 25.

If I recall correctly, the description for The City That Never Sleeps does mention new suits!

Wait, characters as in plural? AND more costumes?? God this game is too much. Might be the first time I actively avoid spoilers on this game because this much hype is going to give me a heard attack.

Towers?

Damn. That means most of the play time will be spent stealing rides and driving through traffic to get to them like other games.

If only we were controlling a character that wasn't so grounded and slo.....ooooooh.

Got mine ordered with ShopTo for the steelbook they're giving with it. Don't usually go for them but it's a freebie so why not.

I don't think this is a spoiler at all, but I'll put it in a tag anyway just if people want to be surprised?

It concerns Kingpin. Looks cool.

Laughing my ass off at people passing on the game just because there are "Ubisoft towers." Ah, gamers.

I think by characters they simply meant new characters in the story... At least that's what I say to not hype myself up too much.
Gameplay Batman's style ? Check.
Did you even read or watch any of these previews?
