I'm just buying this for the swinging. Everything else is just extra.
Well yeah I mean people expecting GTA5 are out of their minds. GTA has so much hype built into it, and the teams are so large... plus kids love to play games like that just for kicks. It eats up their online time similar to Fortnite. Adults love it too.
Spidey definitely has that appeal, but I'm not really sure how online would even work. I feel this is going to send PS4 in the clouds though. Spider-Man is going to be huge if the game is good.
There are 2 bundles for the US, but for the EU there are 3 bundles: Limited Edition PS4 Pro, Limited Edition PS4 Slim and a normal Jet Black PS4 Slim bundle. For some reason the Limited Edition PS4 Slim is not coming to the US.
Telpis For the UK the Limited Edition PS4 Pro is GAME exclusive, so Amazon UK doesn't have it on sale. They only have the Limited Edition PS4 Slim.

Bendis' original Ultimate Spider-man is amazing and has all the greatest hits without any continuity bagage. Here it is but unfortunately it's not an sale digitally atm. You can also take a Marvel Unlimited sub and the trades are still found everywhere. Very addictive comic, read all the way through vol. 20 ish.
Wouldn't be surprised if comixology did a big Spidey sale before the release of the game.
I would recommend Joe Michael Straczynski's run in the Amazing Spider-Man (you can find the complete list of TPB's in this link). One of the best that I've read - funny, intelligent, and yet very dramatic when needed. After his stories the whole universe of Spider-Man got turned upside down, nevertheless I still recommend them.
you may want to avoid the previews then if you're already on blackout, it's new stuff from the first 2-2.5 hours of the game
Apparently Game Informer said there was 12 options blacked out in a menu but Insomniac said there's more than that.
Not sure if this is from a new preview, but Game Informer actually stated that the number of locked sillouettes was above 20.
I have heard from an attendant to one of the previews (don't take this as a fact though) that the number is closer to 25 or so. But I have no idea if that was really disclosed in the preview events, so take it with a grain of salt.
The Game Informer thing was in their April coverage of the game and they said 24 sillouettes but Insomniac said there's more than that
