All 8bitdo will connect natively to Switch as easily as the official Pro controller, no extra hardware required.Man those things look GREAT. But honestly, I can't imagine any of them being better than this:
I had that relaiziation on the NES Classic. It's nostaglia and fun to play on those old school controllers, but the Wii Pro is seriously the best D-Pad centric controller out there. Everything about it is perfect if you're looking for a D-Pad focused controller.
I guess the pro about the top 3 pro style controllers is that they have the Share button and Switch features. But until someone tells me that the D-Pad is top notch, I'm going to stick with the Wii Classic.
... Also, do you need the blue tooth adapter to use those 8bitdo controllers, or does it just connect like a Pro without extra hardware/
For the Classic Mini consoles you do need the $12 8bitdo wireless adapter. That also works on a Wii Remote with a Wii or Wii U, so you could leave the Wii Remote anywhere.
