I'll miss Mayu as well. She was crazy, but fun to watch. I like Yui much less after the newest episode though. I know that some people are saying that she was bullied by Mayu for a long time (wasn't it actually only a few days?) before she stood up to her, but I still think her attitude wasn't great. Aya seems chill.
Thought this was really cool. Not her best art(doesn't really seem like her usual thing) but still cool to see her getting more and more exposure. I really dig her style.
Me too! I follow her on IG and her art has just gotten better and better. Not surprisingly, as much time as she devotes to it. She was just sketching with Katsuya Terada in a cafe a few weeks back. So very jealous lol I can't imagine what her work will be like in another handful of years at this rate. Hope she gets more and more exposure and work.
Sigh, I'm getting more and more annoyed by most of the stuff Yui does and says.
On the other hand, Aya seems fun, loved the Shohei twist and the panel's talk after that.

DAMN, reading the question list by Yui during the camping trip. Just wow.
Also, the ending with both Shohei and Seina crying. I don't know why, but I found it quite funny.

While I agree that it sounds a bit weird, I assume that's what most people worldwide know her for.
Finally reached the part where Hansan leaves. I was on the verge of tears. When he opened the photo book and he started tearing, I was so close to crying too. Only reason why I didn't was because my parents were watching with me. He, Hikaru, and Arman were the best of bros.
Rolled my eyes at everyone crying at ami leaving. Ya get the free pass when you're hot. In total agreements with Yamato lol

Alternative theory, the editing in this show manipulates you into seeing people a certain way.
For instance, she and Tsubasa are really good friends, did we see that relationship on the show, even once?
Not really, which sucks because I'm totally down for watching a friendship on the show. It doesn't all have to be about failing shots at relationships. Tsubasa I understood crying, we had heard multiple times about their friendship just not seen it, but Shohei...

I've been feeling crazy for getting on a binge obsession with this show lately, but it's nice to search Resetera, and see I'm not alone in this world of guilt filled pleasure.
I watched the "... in the city" and skipped Aloha, so now I'm on ep23 of "opening new doors". For me the commentary panel is the absolute highlight, it's incredible how much it adds to the show.
I'm sad however that they changed the opening theme, because I got completely addicted to the first one's song and wouldn't actually skip the intro video.

Her being good friends with Tsubasa and that being shown wouldn't change anything. Of course the girls talk and get along, and that was conveyed pretty well from the footage they did show, but the guys crying at her? Or them constantly talking about how cute she is? Come on

ANYWAYS I'M ON EPISODE 21 of OND and uh, I don't like Mayu. At all.
I read this and am singing and flipping out. Such a great corny song changed to utter crap.
I went in blind on that, so I had no expectations of it being bad like you might. So that may sour your opinion a bit before you even start (if you start), but I didn't think it was awful at all. It's really just ... different compared to the others, the cast feels different and that is maybe largely due to how much English is spoken in the show and the much higher ratio or mixed nationalities in Aloha State? I still found myself liking/disliking the cast just as much as I did in the other houses, and overall found it well worth watching.
I guess it all comes down to just how addicted you are to Terrace House? Can you live without it at all until more OND comes out in your region? Or do you neeeeed that fix, even if it is not quite the same? =P
i didnt think aloha state was as bad as people are saying. it had its share of moments as well as dead weight cast members

They really are the best part of the show a lot of the time! It was so strange for the first 20 or so episodes of BGND when it was just You driving around in the backseat of a car during the recap/intro lol. The 5 or so episodes when it was You and Reina in the viewing studio was a bit better, but I was so happy when they finally had that full cast of six presenters. It just isn't Terrace House without the insanity of Yama-chan.
I could only tolerate Aloha State with commentary enabled all the way through. The first 2 parts were difficult to get through otherwise.

Not complaining but this is seriously the Tsubasa and Shion show. I do hope that Seina finds romance. I've never encountered her before in the show but she seems fun.

The first half (if not more) is no bueno, easily the worst starting cast in history. It kiiiiinda picks up when Taichi and Chikako join but it never reached the highs (nor the "mids" lol) of the 2 previous seasons and OND. No one ever seems to really get along, I can't remember some great friendship moments on screen that I liked about TH.
Like Aiii said, the final episode is cool, but that's the only memorable moment to me.
Might as well watch it if you're curious, but it's the only season I haven't rewatched.
my wife and i have the tradition to watch the latest japanese episode every saturday. we buy some beers and then watch it.

the latest episode had so many good moments. i wonder whats stopping seina from going with shohei? they are a good match
Maybe she can't stand people who have negative game (not even zero game) and cry all the time? Or maybe she's looking for someone with whom she'd have a great connection from the very start, not after someone tells the guy what to do.

Yeah, it's a really weird situation. My post was mostly making fun of Shohei, because I honestly don't know why Seina isn't more open to dating him. I seriously thing that those terrible kisses might have something to do with it.
Wow OND is fantastic. Just finished part 3 and I'm so bummed it's over. I love everyone including Mayu who brings the "spice" and awkward thirst.
Taka needs something to do though. It's weird to me... I guess he's older so the women aren't as interested but I think he's very attractive.
