Every month there is a Game of the Month suggestion, this can be done by anyone and there impressions of the game are posted here, since this is the first thread I'll give it a go:


The Last of Us Remastered - MRORANGE
While it's probably a cliche at this point to suggest this as a GOTM title it is currently on sale on PSN in Europe and I felt it was the best way to start GOTM with one of my favourite PlayStation games of all times. I originally played it on PS3 and at first I wasn't totally into the game but as the story progressed I got sucked in more and more into the story of Ellie and Joel and the struggles that both characters were facing. The plot devices and settings mixed in the modern wild west apocalyptic blends in well with the traversal of seasons that game showcases in this chaotic world. The game mechanics must also be praised. Crafting and looting are essential to your survival and especially in the harder difficulties it can mean life or death if your plunder your resources. Overall TLoU is mature effort from Naughty Dog and it shows, it's hard to see what people are raving about without playing the game but it is a must for anyone who owns a PlayStation console.

It's great to see everyone being really postie about this thread. the main aims of this thread is:

• A place to chat about PSN releases
• A place to get info on new releases and get user recommendations from you.
• A place that might hopefully contain everything PS related in one thread.
• Overall I'll do this thread for a few months and pass this onto someone else.
