Yeah I've been waiting for this since launch. The only problem is that I'll have to drop antoher 20-30 dollars for the next dlc in a couple of months after this.

Man, if Cayde is really dead for good, it bothers me that it's more of a marketing ploy and pre-order bonus push than anything else.

They figured that it would get spoiled since he dies in the first mission, better to go straight away and market it.
By the way, him dying has been datamined since last year.

I can't believe Im back on the Destiny crack, but oh well.
Looks good. I'll get my money's worth out of it. Time will tell if I stick around to grind for the long haul, but hey...thats a later concern. Lots of good games coming out.

If you have Destiny 2 digital (obviously the expansion pack is digital), you would just need to get the Forsaken expansion in that case.
This collection is Destiny 2, the expansion pack releases (Curse of Osiris and Warmind), and the Forsaken expansion in a $60 package for new costumers to get everything.
They probably want to go from physical year 1 to digital year 2. In that case getting the forsaken standalone expansion still require them to use the disc.

I don't have D2 digital, only physical. It's everything else that's digital and I would like to go fully digital.
I'm all-in on this. I started and went all in on both Destinys on PS4 but I have no friends on PS4. I burned out after about 3 months with both games because I just didn't get hooked playing solo, but paradoxically, I really like both games.
Now that I also have a One X, I think I'm going to pick this up and use the boost so I can join my friends for Forsaken. I've been waiting on something like this.
