Doesn't look that bad but holy shit I struggled to understand what Brock and Venom were saying.

Wasn't very impressed with the way the trailer was edited to tell the story, cause it doesn't leave much room for mystery or contemplating what the overall plot will be since it spells it all out in about 2 and a half minutes. Also wasn't that impressed with the CGI design for Venom, though I think that'll improve closer to the film's final release. I hope it does well, cause I fully believe Sony is trying their best to make comic book films visually and tonally distinct from what the MCU's been putting out for last few years. Plus Tom Hardy is such an incredible actor.

The dialogue feels pretty damn hokey (though it's always hard to get a true sense for scripts from trailers) but Venom himself looks fucking awesome and I love the dark humor. On point.

This looked worse than the first trailer. The attempt at humor was cringey and some CGI still looks janky. Now I'm worried.

Venom's design is pretty cool, but all the rest... Eh.
I don't see myself going to the cinema for this, but will probably watch it high at home sometime

Looks like trash. I like Venom more than Spider-Man (and Carnage more than Venom) but I wouldn't even watch this for free if I had a choice...

Didn't anticipate Venom having terrible dialogue. Turd in the wind? It's a poor imitation of Marvel snarkiness.

Alright, I thought it was ok. I didn't have issues understanding Venom.

I'm not super excited, but I'm a bit more open to it. I'm not sure if I'll day 1 it, but, I am a bit more open to the movie.

So what I'm saying is, I think this trailer worked better for me than 1 and 2. But I'm not 100% sold.

Maybe it's the poor dialogue, but it just seems like Tom Hardy is phoning it in. Is he also doing the voice of Venom? It sounds like the dude from Fringe and The Wire.

Venom looks good. At the very least, he looks cool enough to sell some merch.

The worst part about this movie is it probably ruins our chance of seeing Venom in the MCU proper.

Either make it a straight up horror movie or lean harder into the MCU-style goofiness to sell the absurdity. The tone here just doesn't work, or the trailers are really bad at conveying it.

I haven't seen a superhero movie since before the MCU started (think Watchmen was the last) but I had every intention of seeing this. Not anymore. This looks (and sounds) abysmal. Venom itself looks really good though. Glad it's a hulking beast.

Venom himself looks alright, but boy, that is some bad we need you to say this for the trailer dialogue.

Between Hardy's comments at CinemaCon and having seen two trailers I don't see how this film is going to be rated anything other than PG-13.

Rolling down the street, like a turd.

Is that what he said?

Yeah.

Not only is it a terribly written line it's childish in the extreme.

I'm sold. Day one.

Hardy's accent is grating but this looks great despite it.

Hardy either doesn't have the best luck with voice direction, or future directors need to have a talk with him about future comic films. Even if I enjoyed him in TDKR.

Also, you can hold me to saying I'm more open to seeing this after this trailer. Not super excited, but I am more willing to give this a chance now.
