Since some people had (understandably) issues with the GAF part of the old steam group name and considering lord Gaben doesn't let you change a group name, I have decided to make a new steam group without the baggage of GAF. With the new steam chat being a lot more useful and monster hunter world making use of groups I hope this will be useful! You can join the new group here:

The game doesn't explicitly follow the tv show, in fact it's closer to the books but I can't promise no spoilers to those that are avoiding them just FYI. I doubt it would be anything major though.

Let's just say I didn't realize there were so many mods on Reset until I started playing Mafia

It's pretty great. It's a free version of mafia. Tons of roles, and it works very well. Simply make an account and jump into a game. I play it often, its an easy game to casually play while doing other things.

It's basically mafia vs town, but there are other roles too. The major alignments are: Town, Mafia, Neutral Evil (like the witch who wants to see all town members die and can control a player to act upon another...Witch also is able to see the role of those who they control, which allows them to secretly work with mafia), or the jester (who WANTS to be lynched and tries to trick town into getting lynched). Other alignments like Neutral Killing (like the executioner who is given a town target to try and lynch, or the Serial Killer who works by himself to kill everyone), or true Neutrals like the Survivor who wins with any other faction and can be a good swing voter.
It's really fun

Im liking it. Especially a lot more than EpicMafia. EpicMafia seemed to formulaic. If A then do B. etc. With Salem it's like a Super Mini lightning game on era. Nice appetizer to get you by until Era's game.

I was reading some thread here yesterday and saw someone using a different countdown timer than the 2 we know of. Instead of giving multiple time zones, it shows the remaning time in dd:hh:mm:ss, and the neat thing is that it auto refreshes while you're still on the page:
