dudes are way too insecure. i think its great on men. theyre super comfortable. just wear a shirt long enough or shorts if thats an issue

I wear long underwear top and bottoms as part of my snow gear or camping gear at night. Though it's covered up by 2-3 layers after that.
I can't think of a temperature where it's cold enough to wear long underwear but not so cold I won't need to put more layers on top of it.

I've always thought thermals under ripped jeans is a cool look, it would still look good with leggings.

I have worn my gf's leggings on numerous occasions and loved them. I also got a ton of compliments and it's not like I'm a "typically" attractive dude, nor am I physically fit (6', 190lbs).
The only person that complained about them was my mom. She told me that only gay men were leggings. Cool, mom, cool.
EDIT: I also have quite hairy legs, and there was no comfort issues. In terms of bulge issues, when I left the house with them on i believe I wore either an extra pair of boxer briefs or shorts UNDER the tights and that mitigated most of the issue
No. Leggings under gym shorts are appropriate for working out in cold weather, but that's basically it.
