I feel the same way.
The OnePlus 5T I picked up is 6" and it will be the largest phone I'll ever buy. Glad to see multiple devices across a bunch of sizes though.
People waiting for a new SE will be waiting a long time. Mark Gurman said previously there is no new SE in the works at this time. The 6.1 inch LCD iPhone is the closest we will get to a follow up to the SE.

I have a iPhone X now, if they don't bring back Touch ID then I don't see a reason for me to upgrade. There is always a "special" feature exclusive to that year so I wonder what they will talk about this year.
The current A11 and actively cooled A10X (apple TV 4K) can already do PS3/360 and even Switch level graphics, but you don't see examples very often. This is because the market dynamics of the app store disincentivized devs from making traditional AAA full price games because nobody is going to buy them. So it's just freemium and ~1.99 stuff.
That being said, the new Asphalt game looks really good.
Mine's at 82% health and just super heated doing nothing in an air conditioned room, dropping from 40% charge to 11% instantly.
Man I used to be all about large phones, but the iPhone X is literally the perfect form factor. No other phone has ever felt as good in the hand and been as intuitive to use.
This might be the first year in a while where I don't get a new iPhone. I guess only thing that might get me to re-consider is if they make a huge improvement to screen brightness.

Copying and pasting my previous response since you didn't read it.
The 6.1 Inch iPhone 9 is using "Cover Glass Sensor" (CGS) technology, the touch panel is effectively the surface glass instead of being a display panel. You can't have 3D touch with this tech. The 6.1 Inch display is the same as the LG G7 uses so people have a good idea 3D touch won't work.
The loss won't be a problem software-wise, iOS 12 is compatible with phones that don't have 3D touch so it makes sense to ditch it to save costs.
I don't like how the iPhone 9 has such a large screen, but there is no option for a smaller device unless you pony up for the iPhone X. My iPhone 7 is already pushing it for me because I can't reach all four corners with my thumb and one-handed typing is rough.
Most likely getting the updated X. Interested in the X Plus but I think it will be too big.
Also interested to see how the budget X is handled.

I'm at the point that unless mine quits or breaks I won't replace it. They all do the same stuff now.
Moving from the 7 Plus to the X was perfect. Finally having a phone that's comfortable to hold and only gave up a slight amount of horizontal screen real estate
Yep, how people justify upgrading every year is beyond me. Hopefully they have already paid off their houses.
They're decent looking, but they just look like more iPhones. And that's fine.
I'm not willing to spend $800-1000 just for a top of the line phone, when I hardly use the phone I have and don't need a lot of power or great specs. When my current phone contract is over this winter, I will probably just upgrade to whatever 'free' iPhone they'll offer me. Hopefully it'll be a 7, or better (but probably now). Who knows.

That means the missus will be switching to Android this year, and I very much doubt she ever returns to the iPhone fold.
Such an odd decision for them to make.
6.5 seems crazy, I already struggle reaching each corner without wiggling my phone around my hand to reach each corner with a 5.7" screen.
Looks like the other one is 6.1" too.
I was hoping for something different from a design POV. Would love to get away from rounded corners personally.
Considering it's pronounced "ten", not "ecks", I don't see them doing that. Or at least "the new iPhone Ten" is more likely than "Ten Two".
I will be annoyed with the increasing size changes though. My 6 is already slightly bigger than ideal.
