Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Estonia, Latvia. These are neighboring countries so it's easy.
US (three times), Japan, Germany, Croatia and UK as longer trips.

I think I enjoyed Japan the most, such a qurious and layered society and the food was the best I've ever eaten.

I'm from the USA.

I've visited:

Korea (Lived here for 4 years)
Canada
Japan
Hong Kong
Macau

I'll be heading to Taiwan tomorrow.

Definitely not even close to as many countries as I would eventually like to visit, but it's a nice start and considering before my current generation my family probably never even left the US or Canada, I feel pretty lucky.

Hardly any. I don't care at all for travelling so I just visit places where my friends happen to be:

England (home)
Wales (drove there and back in a day; barely counts)
France
Spain
Belgium
Netherlands
Hungary
USA

Vatican is kinda the opposite of England/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland. It's a sovereign state, but not really a country.

Quite a hump for me. Almost nothing when I was young except school trip on the ferry to France, then a lot for my previous d now not much again except occasional holidays.

England (home), Wales, Scotland, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Finland (a lot), Italy, Vatican City, Monaco (does that count?), Czech Republic, Greece, USA (LA & Atlanta for E3, NY, Ann Arbour, Hawaii), Canada, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan (most years - wife is Japanese)

Not missing many places i'd really like to go - US for the space centre me to see a spaceX launch is probably about it for he 'must do' list. Lots of Europe's places I could visit quite easily as long weekends.

My mother was a travel agent when I was a kid, so while we weren't rich by any measure, I did get to travel a lot. Let's see, including my home country:

Belgium
Netherlands
Luxembourg
France
Germany
Spain
Italy
Vatican City, if that counts
Greece
UK
Switzerland
Egypt
India
Nepal
Indonesia
Japan
USA
Mexico
Guatemala
Honduras
Peru
Bolivia

So that's 22. Hoping to add a lot more!

One, USA since I live here. Unfortunately a 4 figure yearly salary makes it impossible to travel domestically let alone cross country. A passport alone would cost almost 2 months food budget let alone the other expenses. One day hopefully.

That number is a bit inflated since they count things that aren't really countries there, but whatever.

My parents took me around Europe when I was little, but I won't count it since I barely remember (well, I remember a littel of Paris, and Brussels where my mom's sister lives). Anyway:

Venezuela (birth country, lived there for 17 years)
Canada (current home country)
Italy (My dad's side is from there)
Colombia (my mom is from there)
Spain (went this year! An aunt lives in Tenerife, and have friends in Sevilla and Madrid)
USA (a bunch of times. Some capitalism, others not so much. Been to Texas, Washington, New York, and Florida. Havent gone there since 2015, would like to keep it that way for a while... you know. Wanna check the west coast some day)
Mexico, Honduras, Belize, others from Central America/Caribbean (been to Mexico twice, and my parents took my sister and I on a cruise around the Caribbean. Would recommend)

So about 10. I would like to check the Southern hemisphere more, and go to Egypt, Japan, and some other Asian/African countries someday.

73 countries, or 29% of all world's countries

63% of European countries
41% of Asian countries
17% of Oceanian countries
14% of South America
13% of North America on USA state basis
8% of African countries
0% of Antarctica

This is not taking into account countries I have driven through or had a stop over in (e.g. Poland, Lithuania, Latvia).

So much to see still.

Roughly 22 different countries, I guess, though it was really hard to remember. The list isn't as extensive as I thought.

Next up will be Scotland and the Czech Republic, probably. I want to go to Spain and South Korea, as well. I probably haven't traveled in 8 years.

Wow that's a lot. A fellow globetrotter I see. Out of interest, what's the background to the high amount of countries - love to travel, took time off, like to do journeys etc.?

Cambodia
Canada
Croatia
Czech
Egypt

Malaysia

I'm from Madrid, Spain. If we include that, but without including transfers since that's kinda cheap (and would add some 6 countries or more):

Spain
Portugal
Italy
Vatican
France
Germany
Switzerland
Denmark
Finland
Sweden
Norway
Greece
Turkey

Egypt

India
Taiwan
Hong Kong
Singapore
Indonesia
Japan

United States

That's 21 countries, but I'm probably forgetting a couple. I've stayed in most of those countries for over a week each, so while I've visited very few countries, I've seen most of them quite a bit (with some countries being over a month). I can hopefully continue visiting more countries once my daughter is a bit older and she can travel fine with us.

I want to visit South American countries since speaking Spanish really helps for most of them, and also get some extra African countries since I've only been to Egypt...
