Not going to lie but it kinda does.
VN segments are gameplay, too
Way too soon to say anything, but "so good" is the last thing to come to mind! :P
Dude, this is even worse than a cheap furyu game, comparing it to NIS is already too much. Even that Caligula game on ps4 looks miles better than thisLooks like one of those low to mid budget JRPGs that NISa license due to them being so cheap they can localise them easily because hardcore otakus will buy them.
come on. lol Disgaea didn't create SRPGS. Plus, there are whole games based on "visual novel cutscene talking scenes", so...?Not really digging it. Basically Disgaea gameplay + visual novel cutscene talking scenes (which has nothing to do with gameplay or graphics).
I love the general idea behind Survive, but I'm extremely skeptic about the execution. Screens so far are OK at best, and that three second footage looked painfully low budgeted.
Didn't take long to get "lazy dev" garbage from the pointless cynicism but here we areMy expectations weren't high to begin with, but this just looks like a very low effort game to me. It is too soon to say, of course. Worst part is it'll sell gobs even if it is bad, which means developers won't bother to try harder next time.
There's still another Digimon game entirely in development for consoles from the Cyber Sleuth devs. No, sure, but everyone has directly a picture in their mind with the word "Disgaea" and it looks a lot like it, even the graphic style. End it doesn't has to be a bad thing, but I'm skeptical.
Also hoped we would get the first real current gen title, thought they promised that? That looks like it would be made for the Vita and Switch or Smartphones.
This isn't that gameNot feeling it. Wasn't the next game supposed to be not limited to the Vita?
