VN mixed with strat rpg is actually pretty interesting. I don't typically play the digimon games but it's caught my attention at least

Not really digging it. Basically Disgaea gameplay + visual novel cutscene talking scenes (which has nothing to do with gameplay or graphics).
Gameplay looks very underwhelming, tbh. That animation is like flash game quality.
Also, it looks like there's no elevation whatsoever in the tactics. It's one of those 'flat' tactical RPG.

Dude, this is even worse than a cheap furyu game, comparing it to NIS is already too much. Even that Caligula game on ps4 looks miles better than this
come on. lol Disgaea didn't create SRPGS. Plus, there are whole games based on "visual novel cutscene talking scenes", so...?
Anyway, it looks bad. I dig the artstyle but that's it. They aren't trying with Digimon since Tri, are they

My expectations weren't high to begin with, but this just looks like a very low effort game to me. It is too soon to say, of course. Worst part is it'll sell gobs even if it is bad, which means developers won't bother to try harder next time.
I love the general idea behind Survive, but I'm extremely skeptic about the execution. Screens so far are OK at best, and that three second footage looked painfully low budgeted.

No, sure, but everyone has directly a picture in their mind with the word "Disgaea" and it looks a lot like it, even the graphic style. It doesn't has to be a bad thing, but I'm skeptical.
Also hoped we would get the first real current gen title, thought they promised that? That looks like it would be made for the Vita and Switch or Smartphones.

Looks ok. The 2D animation doesn't look particularly natural, and the environment design us really simplistic (though it could just be early in the game)
As a musical person, im always intrigued by good music. Thats the reason i bought nier automata. This game seems to have one even though im so bad at srpg which makes me thing that i wish this will have difficulty setting
