User Warned: Arguing in bad faith.
You said:

"Why is everyone saying this. What makes Disney any better than Comcast."

You asked and it was answered. You don't actually give a shit about knowing anything though because after being told the answer you're just squirming around your own ignorance.
Are you just blatantly ignoring what everyone is saying in order to craft your own narrative at this point?

People defending corporations over some comic book characters. This is the world we live in. This is quite simple really, competition is good, when huge companies in the same industry merge it's bad for consumers. People should understand that and not dismiss it.

I think the EU is going to be the only hang up and if anything they'll make Disney divest more stuff like the US DOJ did with the RSNs.

Thanks for that. With your knowledge on this, I'm glad to hear you expect things to go through from here, with the exception of some potential additional divesting of assets internationally. While Marvel can't actually do anything until it closes, it is fun to think that it really is likely to happen and speculate about how it will all shake out. Further, while Marvel Studios is very methodical in their planning, Disney is paying a lot of money and I'm sure will want to monetize the IP as quickly as possible. It'll be very fun as a fan to start to see teases and references potentially to a number of characters potentially in the next couple of years.

In any case, compared to the last few months with all of the news in the fight with Comcast, the next 6-12 months will be a lot quieter. I wonder how much we'll hear outside of updates at earnings announcements.

You asked why people preferred Disney over Comcast. Stop playing games.

No they are not. Disney is larger than Comcast and the combined Disney and Fox will be noticeably larger than Comcast (by market value). The only metrics Comcast is larger is total revenue, cash flow and assets.

Lol oh is that all?

Okay, so you have no desire to actually listen. Got it.

It's going to be weird to see Deadpool in the MCU, if that even happens, how in the hell are they going to bring over the kind of jokes and violence that's in Deadpool over to the MCU?

The assets were being sold, this wasn't some aggressive takeover by Disney. Disney isn't some saint organization, and they definitely deserve flak for how they've run their business in the past, but they aren't goddamn Comcast. Fuck Comcast lol. They don't deserve to get bigger. At least Disney stays in their lane as an entertainment company, and IP isn't a scarce resource so this is hardly a monopoly.

Shouldn't be too hard at all. The solo Deadpool films can remain R-rated while they tone down him down a bit for crossovers. It'll work fine with good writers behind it.

Deadpool doesn't need to be cursing every 5 seconds. That isn't what makes the character good.

I expect Fiege will now begin planning on how to integrate the X-Men, F4 and Deadpool, similar to how Marvel Studios did the same with Spider-Man when they were close to their deal with Sony.

We're all talking about Marvel when we should really be looking at the bigger picture:

I'm not saying that he needs to curse all the time, just that the humor is a tad cruder in Deadpool and so is the violence, it's a interesting problem that I'm sure Disney will solve without any problems. Just an interesting problem, that's all.

Deadpool's solo movies stay R rated. If he crosses over to a more mainstream MCU element he becomes PG-13. Heck, you can even make a gag out of Deadpool being aware of his curse words getting beeped out.

Sometimes censorship can actually enhance comedy

The violence will definitely be toned down when Deadpool isn't in his own movie. And I'm almost certain that they'll bleep out his cussing while he breaks the fourth wall mentioning it.

Whats the soonest that disney will hint xmen ,deadpool or fantastic four in their movies?

Plenty of time to change the post-credit scenes for Captain Marvel and Avengers 4.

Deadpool "If you're wondering why I'm trying to be on my best behaviour is cause I don't want to get fired by Disney".

The same way it's been done in the comics for years.

The violence is more of an issue than cursing. Deadpool doesn't need to say "fuck" in an Avengers movie. If anything, they increased his vulgarity for the film series and it wasn't needed.
The swearing I don't care but toning down the violence is going to be annoying. I love the action in the 2 DP movies.

I wonder if they do keep Reynolds, if they'll keep the same suit or if they will redesign

There's some major dishonesty going with that poster. I wonder which franchise he's angry about Disney owning.

Ding ding ding

Also, sadly-Jackman won't be in the MCU. If I had to guess it would be 5 -6 years at the earliest before we ever see an X-Men movie in the MCU.

Manabyte can correct me if I'm wrong but I think pre-production of films would put it that far out at the earliest.

Everyone is focussed on the MCU, but we are forgetting the other properties they'll have now. Like one of the biggest cultural influences in the developed world, The Simpsons.

That is huge. Nobody could seen that coming. Well, Except for The Simpsons themselves in that one episode where they predicted it happening
