It's the exact opposite for Cassie. From her debut in the Byrne-drawn WW series (when he was fixated for some reason on undernourished superheroes) to Young Justice and then to Titans.

Several pokemon mega evolutions. The worst ones look like what people complaining about digimon/overdesigned pokemon after Gen__ come to life.

Sharpedo is the worst.

Yeah its pretty crazy that the original She-Ra cartoon has been on since 1985 and her new transformation is this. Akira Toriyama really dropped the ball.

That's a reboot.

I actually like the new design a lot

Also I completely forgot

Fixed for accuracy.
Agent Venom was a huge HUGE step up in storytelling and character exploration IMO. I just don't get the love for Eddy Brock and his raging petulant man-child edgelord shtick.

Did you accidentally post them in the wrong order?

Were not talking about story telling and character exploration...we're talking about looks. Agent Venom looks dumb, basically swat armor and ballistics mask. Total downgrade from the alien monster Venom.

Flash Thompson is an army veteran and possesses tremendous respect and admiration for spider-man. That's immediately communicated in his appearance. Pretty damn effective visual design if you ask me.

Furthermore he turns into edge-lord venom if he's pushed too much and the symbiote takes control. Very useful device.

If anything, the visual downgrade was from Agent Venom to Space Knight Venom.

Uryuu didn't get shit, in fact let me post what Kubo basically did to him all before his fight (it sucked btw)

- Ishida treatment, relationship with Ichigo, drama and his fight with Hawswelt:

We all know Ishida Uryuu right, suppose to be a main character, Quincy and sewing guy.

236516_1242424791068_full.jpg

(Sad Kubo forget characters quirks like this)

So with an arc all about Quincy the question come sup is what will Kubo do with him...well set up poorly written drawn.

tumblr_inline_ocrvr0bqCo1t50f1d_500.jpg

So yeah this is Kubo way at establishing Ichigo and Ishida "friendship". While Ichigo and Ishida aren't enemies any more, Ishida is simply out of Ichigo click the one he's least close to. Ishida only stay around because other people he cared about were in danger, Rukia and Orihime.

Now if Kubo had made these 2 closer of the years that be one thing, but how their "relationship" is, trying to set up this drama of him joining the bad side not only is weak, but NO ONE believed Ishida for real betrayed.

Let's go though what Ishida has done though this series to earn this drama with Ichigo from the start of the series:

- Ishida is white and Ichigo is black, meant to show they are opposites with different beliefs and personalities.
Most of all Ichigo and Ishida are part of 2 different groups.

- Gives them a connection by a minor team up, so 600 chapters later when he betrays you may feel something.

- Ishida and Ichigo and the other 2 go on an quest to save Rukia. The enemy will be part of Ichigo faction, which will cause him to have a lot of introspection about his side not being undisputedly in the right, oh wait we don't do that.

- Because despite having Ishida giant baby controlled by a hamfisted evil personification of everything bad done to Quincy but this connection goes no where and the author rather forget about that than create drama with it. Ishida seemingly bares no ill will towards the SS for keeping this guy in power.

- Aizen revealed not to be dead and turns out to be a bad guy that planned every bad thing in this series.

- Ishida does a tsundere thing with Ichigo at the end, while a OK moment it's not a huge deal because they don't really feel that much closer, but hey least see what happens next!

- So both Ishida and Ichigo train for the upcoming war. Though Ishida training he must choice to no longer be friends with Ichigo/Soul Reapers.

- After Orihime gets kidnapped Ishida decides to work with Ichigo, not because he asked or anything, but Orihime is his friend. Also the condition of his training about leaving his friend is forgotten about.

- So what does Ishida do this arc you say? Be competent and contribute with his strength, and show the impact of the training, too much work for Kubo. Ishida fights 1 lowly arrancar that feels like padding, to can get fodderized by a sadistic scientist like the arc before only to be save by said sadist scientist, have an abused daughter big boobs smoother him and spend the majority of the arc off screen and inconsequential.

- Kubo keeps interactions between Ishida and Ichigo to a bare minimum the whole damn time and completely omit him from the year-long climax to the 6-year mega arc.

- So Ishida is clearly still main character, has a huge connection to starwberry. Not a horrible underused MC like the rest of the main cast.

- Ishida gets off-screened like a fodder, in order to justify the Hero joining extremely untrustworthy people in order to protect his friends.

- Ishida is in a hospital bed for barely any reason most the arc, despite his importance of instantly expose the villain plot twist (Villain plot twists are SACRED! It is known!)

-Despite being a round for his fight with Ginjou he does fuck all.....clearly they gotten closer.

Oh but now they are clear best buddies because Orihime said so:

tumblr_inline_ocrvr0bqCo1t50f1d_500.jpg

- Launch epic Mega-Arc where the Hero's faction faces off against a white-clad, unforeseen army of their age-old, literal opposites, bent on destroying the Heros kind as well as God and reality itself! The hero, shockingly a dual product of both sides, must tap into both sides of his power to face the nigh- omnipotent enemy, who has been manipulating him all along!!!

- Then reveal Ishida is part of the baddies a year after just being left behind! Now how does Kubo handle it from here!

- Ishida is with his own kind, meet other quincies for the first time, will he explore the antagonistic factions culture and ideals! UOr will he just be used to explore these antagonists and make a overall balanced conflict.

- Oh wait the group is a mismatch of evil bizarre nazi freakazoids.

- Then most of the arc is just filled with one on one fights instead of building drama. Then again who needs character dynamics and motivations to fill a story.

- Oh they do meet, it's the classic shonen talking to evil friend. Ichigo yells out Ishida name after meeting him, Ishida blows him off and Ichigo gives chase. Except Ishida not a villain that anyone believes.

What happens next...oh the exact same thing above. Who needs these two actual talk and try to do something with this set up. Let's have moire stare downs!

- Ishida then knocks knocks Ichigo off a platform, forcing him to redo the journey. Clearly meant to fill suspense in readers...but comes across like a waste of the time to get up their and more padding.

Ishida flashback to him as a child seeing his dad cutting up his mother whining to stop. Then we cut to somewhat present day, Ichigo ask Uryuu why ain't he part of some big prep school to be a doc like his dad. Ishida claims he doesn't want to be a doctor anymore, Ichigo tires to dig deeper but can tell Ishida is uncomfortable and drops it....wow Kubo actually has 2 people act like real people and talk like somewhat real people for once, like 190 chapter too late Kubo.

Boring lieutenant now gifted with the all seeing power (him and Ywatch trade powers as a balance with he sleeps) and despite him knowing he's a traitor asks him to attack Ichigo instead of trying to kill him and despite telling Ishida that he still attacks Ichigo!

Then they all fall down a hole, Ichigo and friends. We have a dumb back and fourth that's basically been the same as the ones with Ishida above.

Ishida then gives them a key meant to open a gate to the human world, made for when the quinces invade it the human world!.............

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THESE PEOPLE?!

First it was to invade and destroy the Soul Society, then the Soul King, then apparently adsorb the Soul King to become the new god, now invade the human world. Oh it get's worse.

Ishida plan was to join is just use these Soken quincy bombs essentially to kill Ywatch. After he destroy most of the SS, the protectors of god, killed god, adsorb his god arm part of a god to become god....little slow to the plan Ishida.

This is basically what Gin did, expect a billion times worse. And here I thought Ishida was smart or something.

Ishida urges them to leave now before Boring notices.....Ishida are you losing brain cells. HE TOLD YOU HE KNOWS YOUR A TRAITOR, BECAUSE HE SEES THE DAMN FUTURE, WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE HE DIDN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still working on my massive Bleach final arc SUCKS thread.
The worst part about Bleach is tht you can do that with pretty much all characters INCLUDING Ichigo, what a fucking waste of a manga.

Every Power Rangers suit after Season 2. The Zeozords also looked like shit compared to the Ninjazords (less said about the travesty that were the Shogunzords, the better).

I kind of grew out of Power Rangers after Zeo, so I don't know if the costumes/Zords went back to being good again at some point. From the brief bit I saw of Turbo they still looked terrible.
