That Vita deadline must've worked to get some developers to bite the bullet and sign deals for physical releases.
Jeff Minter is interested in doing it with LRG i think AFAIK he sent a couple emails to them as i've asked him about it before about the game getting a physical
There's already throngs of people asking for that. I'm confident you guys will get that.
I'd really like to see Superhot get a physical release here!

I'm still waiting for my hold order to be shipped that I paid for on the 25th of May. Included Antiquia Lost so there was a bit of a delay, then I sent a ticket 15 days ago asking what was going on. Got a reply 8 days ago:
"We determined some of our Shopify CSVs were incomplete resulting in our database of hold orders needing to be verified to make sure everyones orders were accounted for.
That has now been completed and we will have a batch of holds created this week. Your shipment is included [...]"
Still waiting for shipping notification...
All Switch games from LRG are pre orders (and i am pretty happy about that).
we'll more than likely see a retail release of that if it happens, would've been nice if the dev put both versions on 1 disc instead of just favouring the VR game
Not like I can even really beg for the Atelier games anymore with what's going on with them, and they've grabbed all the Oddworld titles.
Guess the Code Mystics SNK ports on Vita is my next port of call!
Yeah, I'm also going to be hitting the Ship Items button on my current held order as well. Admittedly, they haven't shipped my previous held order, largely because they're still waiting on the Tribute Treasure Box, Aaero and Escape Goat 2.

My personal current plan of attack is to get Exile's End and a Ship Items in tomorrow, then wait until August 10th and just splurge.
It's been about a month and a half since I requested to have my held stuff shipped, but no movement yet. Don't have any Switch preorders, just Vita games. I'll have to check and see if there's any game in there holding things up, but don't think there should be.

LRG already released that, did you guys miss it? I guess a bunch of people did, it was an odd Wednesday release and all.
Everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong. The customer service was so bad, I had to contact Doug directly to get things sorted out.
Beautiful game in my opinion. Ticked various boxes for me: good mystery, good music, and I adored the main character (Alex). Your tolerance for (mostly) realistic teens will be tested, though.
I did a second playthrough right after the first one due to how invested I was in how it ended.
Loved it. It's up there as far as favorite LRG releases go. I'll be double dipping.
Phew, with all those games coming I'm really gonna have to plan my orders. Tomorrow looks like thumper, bastion, and exiles end. Unless the Oxenfree CE is amazing, I'll grab the standard along with Rabi Ribi and PB, and then grab dust along with West of Loathing. Forsaking S&S for the retail Switch version, and I'll tack on Yookah to whatever since it's a month preorder and we don't know any of the other games yet.
(unlike some stuff that gets released by LRG...)
Oxenfree is great! There are two major criticisms against it. First, the walking is too slow, which, I guess is sort of true, but I loved the music and atmosphere so much I didn't mind it, but I certainly understand it. Secondly, it's "overwritten", but I loved the dialogue and the voice acting and the interruptions. It has a great story that, well, sort of does stuff that makes you want to play it a second time. I was legit mad one character wasn't my best friend at the end because screw him.
It's good.
Even tho it got praise I didn't like it personally. The story was kinda weird but I only played through it once (apparently you have to play it multiple times).
Our customer service as a whole is actually ranked pretty well. The hold order process just got revamped too to make sure it goes more smoothly.
Which is why I decided to give it another shot, as I haven't really read as many complaints as I used to back then. Fingers crossed!
Kind of bummed I missed the mega bundle since the stock levels were fluctuating like crazy. It went from 0% while I was checking out on my first attempt to 20% after I placed a new order for all 5 separate releases, but I guess I don't really care about the trading cards...
I believe Rabi-Ribi got delayed again, according to info from the Discord.
In what way? What was changed?
I miscalculated for some reason and went over the magical 500$ threshold with today's "ship order".....that rule hasn'r become a bit more flexible, has it? (yeah, I know, insurance reasons and all)
Anyway, my experiences with the customer service have been excellent so far. Whether something was missing from my shipment or, more recently, the upcoming redemption of those 40 tickets....really don't have one bad thing to say!
Plenty of stock available still, maybe it wasn't an oversight after all.
LRG's customer service has mostly been good for me, they've fixed issues I've had with missing games which is the main thing. I do find that things like case protectors and especially trading cards are hit & miss though, I can't remember the last time I received a gold trading card even when I've bought the bundles which are supposed to guarantee it, the last time I mentioned it I had another shipped out with a missing game and it was a silver foiled one again (it's not massively important so I just didn't bother raising a ticket about it).
Hoping the revamped hold service works better for all that stuff, most games released now have delays of months before they're ready to ship out so it seems like something that is pretty important compared to when LRG first started releasing games and they shipped the same month most of the time. I have been guilty of holding things for far longer than I should but it's difficult to keep track of when everything has been manufactured and ready to ship so I imagine it must be a nightmare for LRG.
