Is PlayStation Now worth it? I've not played RDR and would like to try it out before RDR2, and also play all the previous GOWs. Is it worth it?

On another note, I really love this thread by the way and the communal feeling it has. :)

I've used PS Now with and without an Ethernet cable and I would say only do it if you're lined in and have good internet in general. I did use a week free trial to play BioShock Infinite and Uncharted 2 in 2015 and thought it worked great.

So I looked on Twitter some more after James Stevenson's post on the page page. Looks like will be getting previews as soon as Monday for Spider-Man, at least that's what it seems like from Andy Cortez's tweet from Kinda Funny.

I hope they don't change it too much from the DualShock 4. The DualShock's never been better, especially with its weight. It feels so damn good to use that even just holding one side of it while I'm doing other things is strangely satisfying.

I only need 2 things from DualShock 5:

Better stick grips, preferably concave in the shape of the Xbox One sticks
Better battery life

DS5 needs several changes that can improve it for me
- Touchpad should be much more responsive. Should be able to use it as a mouse for the OS, or mouse for RTS, or other unique ways for a co. like Quantic Dream for example.
- Touchpad to be clickable everywhere and intuitive wise like a Macbook trackpad.
- Better battery life, 2-3 extra hours would be great
- Rumble should be much better, felt in different spots around the controller with different strength levels.
- Input Lag from controller -> console. It's good but any improvement is better.
- Much better gyro support.

Everything else is fantastic.

Agreed. I have always liked the design and feel of the DS controllers. Since im a lot older now, I cant stand to use the PS1 controllers now lol. Thankfully, those got the DS versions later.

I'll take this, and possible some kind of "guard" underneath the triggers. It's far too common for me to bump the triggers on my DS4 while setting it down on the couch.

Maybe some kind of rubbery material for the case. More premium materials and a tweak to the proportions are all I really need.

The touch pad hasn't been used. I guess they won't move to a full digital screen for cost reasons. I'd go with more dedicated buttons.

Arkham Knight is considered the worst Arkham story-wise, and the Batmobile annoyed a lot of people but still earned an 87 (and I still really like Arkham Knight)
Spider-Man will probably have a better story than that game, and journos/fans who have played the game swear by the gameplay
If it has good side quests I could see it scoring Arkham City-like numbers

Had a fun day today. I bought and played both Shadow of the Colossus and GT Sport. Both are great fun, though I really had to get used to the controls in Shadow of the Colossus because it really felt clunky climbing the third colossi, and that horse has a damn mind of its own. Didn't enjoy that one, but this one was truly epic. I literally laughed at how insane it was:

Idk. Arkham was pretty novel for it's time. It was pretty much the first time a licensed IP was treated with the AAA treatment you would see from a first party Xbox or PS game. Open world games were also not as heavily scrutinized when Arkham City or even when Arkham Knight came out as they are now.

I don't see it scoring higher than 86 metacritic. Not that I care that much outside of curiosity.
