Severino may have a tired arm. A lot of his fastballs tonight have been 94-96. His slider is flat and the hitters are right on that pitch.

I hope Cashman dont waste good prospect for rental trade, this team problems are not getting fixed with one more player.

I'm conflicted. I love that the offense is rolling, but this game needs to get thru 5 before another delay.

Yikes, Severino needed to give the Yankees some relief tonight. Now we have more concerns :(

Remember when the Yankees were the best team in baseball? I knew it wouldn't last. They can't score when it matters. I have to agree a new starting pitcher won't matter.

Sanchez not even bothering to run that ball out is inexcusable. Also, Boone's game management continues to be a clown show.

Meh, that loss is on Boone. Didi shouldn't have been bunting. That allowed the Rays to walk Stanton who has been our best hitter.

Doesn't change the fact how everyone was waxing obnoxiously over how great the team is just a few weeks ago and how much they have fallen apart since Torres has been out.

If the Yankees don't make some moves before the trade deadline, then the team will narrowly earn a Wild Card position. They are losing to teams that should be easy wins, meanwhile the RedSox are winning series with little struggle. Dropping games to the Baltimore and Tampa is a bad sign.

It's very troubling. I am watching the postgame and OMG does Sanchez have some kind of mental acumen issue? His baseball IQ is very poor at times.

I would say dude needs to be benched for the rest of the series, but that would require an actual manager.

Only 4 back in the wild card race. Our run differential is back on the plus side too.

you say the same shit every team they go into a tiny slump. their record is ridiculous. they are unlucky to have a team playing even better in their division, but compaining about the yankees performance this year is silly.

It's more of a month long issue that hasn't gotten better. Guess it shows how important Torres is (or was) for the early success.

all it shows is that the Yankees were playing at a crazy and unsustainable pace. one player did not change the team. they were hot, now they're cold. that's it. you need to chill.
