Honestly, they avoid the whole waifu thing pretty adeptly. The characters aren't sexualised whatsoever outside of like one throwaway scene per 40+ hour game.
They're more a slice-of-life / workplace thing.

Clearly it's time to give Akira Tsuchiya TOTAL COMMAND of a project again.
Blue Reflection was such a good starting point but desperately needs a sequel to flesh it out. I also liked NoA but it felt undercooked like a lot of their recent games.
