damn...been wanting to upgrade to a pro and this one's the most tempting yet. what's gamestop give you for a regular PS4 these days?
I'm not a fan of the design at all, but I guess that saves me from buying a console I don't really need!

Got my Amazon preorder in yesterday. The system looks incredible, it's exactly what I wanted from a limited edition Spider Man console.
This is going to be a HUGE hit amongst gamers and Spidey fans lol. Genius move on Sony's part. Now I hope Sony has made enough of these since these insanely beautiful beasts ain't gonna last long on shelves lol.

Eeek I love the God of War Ps4 Pro Bundle (purchased it myself) this one though doesn't do anything for me. It's too bright. Cant wait for the game though.

I had considered trading in my God of War PS4 Pro for an eventual Spider-Man one if they came out with it. But I think that I will probably just stick with what I have, as I am not a huge fan of the almost all red color on this thing. His suit has plenty of blue and red, so I don't quite get such little blue on this thing. I think that more of a color mix would have looked nicer, as the red almost makes this look more "toy like" to me at least.
Hey question, i want to trade in my OG PS4 towards Spidey edition, problem is I swapped my 500gb HD for a 1TB and have no clue where the OG HD is. Will gamestop take a 1TB OG PS4 or decline the trade? I called a random GS just to see what the employee would say and when I asked he replied with "as long as you don't tell me that when you trade it in lol".

I didn't like the lines at the bottom from this leak. Glad they didn't go with anything like that. The official design is better.

Here's a link to the pre-order at Target. Just know that they never know how many they'll get and just cancel pre-orders if they take too many. But if you have Targets near you, just wake up at 3:00am the morning the console releases and buy one for in-store pickup locally. They almost always reserve a few for each store and you can reserve it before the store opens.

I think my launch PS4 might be dying. It has been randomly going into sleep mode while playing, but the major issue are these screen artifacts. Every few minutes I will get these rows of squares that have like a blue tint to them that look like screen distortions or artifacts. Its almost like a dead pixel, but a little bit larger, and a row of them, that will disappear after a few seconds.
Does anyone here know if I remove/break the warranty stickers on the back to open up the PS4 and clean it out, if that will cause somewhere like Gamestop to not take it in as a trade in? I dont want to sell the system on eBay like it is, and atleast Gamestop can refurbish it themselves before reselling it. But either way, I would like to attempt to clean it out and fix it myself before selling it or trading it in.

So I've had two different experiences with trading in PS4's. I traded my regular PS4 to buy the Pro when it came out. I had a 2TB drive in there and I cant remember of the Gamestop guy said they wouldn't take it, or they would take away from the trade value. So I put the old drive in it and they accepted it. Then they guy plugged it in, made sure it booted and all that.
Today I went to trade in the PS4 Pro for the Spiderman Pro, and the employee scanned it, checked the controller and that was it! Didnt even plug it in or really inspect it. Granted it worked fine. Only problem with it was the rear USB port broke to pieces the first time I went to use it.
So YMMV? Just dont mention it, I guess.
You were right it depends, he looked through the ps4 HD and checked the memory. but I found a prior solution of trading PS4's with my brother than trading his in. I get through with no hassle and my bro has a PS4 with extra HD space so win win.
