Hey, Aquaman is cool. They got a boring actor to play him though.
DCEU once again asserting aesthetic superiority over the competition.

Rewatching this a few more times, I really do think this looks awesome.

The bar for DC movies are so low, that I'll probably enjoy this no matter how bad it is.
I'm torn between it looking cool in terms of action, but having way too much CG... However, you need the CG to pull off this kind of action.
How much longer til we get CG that doesn't look so obvious. I can accept it for creatures, but shouldn't humans look real?

The latter part of your post means you really aren't coming at this from an informed position. The character is great and has been for awhile. Has been through out the years. Know what you are talking about and then maybe engage, yah?
Crying reaction videos gets people dem clicks so I oft question the authenticity of tear filled reactions unless it's Kevin Smith BAKED OUT OF HIS MIND teary reactions to things.

I'm surprised at how much I like what I saw post-JL. Momoa seems a lot more charismatic than in that movie. I also think Black Manta looks pretty awesome. Still won't see it or Shazam day one because I still don't trust WB.
Fandom tribalism nothing more. Marvel superfans can not often see the Forrest from the trees same as DC superfans. Weirdo Rotten Tomato/Meta Critic speculators too or people who just to watch things fail. It's a trailer. Movie could be shit but it was a fun trailer nothing more.
I also find it funny how many of the "This looks like shit! Another DC BOMB! 0%RT score" comments come from people whose avatars are some of the shittiest anime characters ever or straight up Marvel avatars. It really tells you all you need to know.

Actually, that is a complaint of IW, specifically the Wakanda battle. People care way more about the Titan battle, the one with less shit happening on screen than the massive Wakandan battle. Aquaman looks like a movie that is nothing but the Wakandan battle.

I wasn't a fan of Momoa's delivery for any of his lines and none of what was happening in the trailer really grabbed me.
The design of Atlantis seemed cool though and I recognized the trailer music (Two Steps From Hell ~ Children of the Sun).
I liked the Shazam trailer at least, Zachary Levi should do a good job.

Aquaman is a incredibly interesting character in the right hands and this movie is looking to be a faithful adaptation of the characters and Atlantis. Aquaman himself is a little off, but this trailer looks like it's going in the right direction.
Below 30? I suppose it's possible but reviewers are rarely scathing when it comes to James Wan. I could see the low 65-75 range maybe.
Like jl was a nothing movie that pleased nobody and it got a higher score than that. Not that scores are the end all be all, the substance of reviews is what matters.
I await for the movie to prove me wrong. But, I saw more than one massive CGI battle with hundreds of things on screen.
It was most certainly not more genuine. It was the most generic marvel movie in a while. Grounded... wow. No.
